Minor changes for July

Rather than start a new thread for every minor change, I figure that it might be better to have one thread and list them here. I will always edit this first post with the change and we can have a running conversation about them as long as it doesn't get out of hand.

Major changes we will try to communicate in advance for possible discussion.

July 2008
  • Added Quick Reply Box for PM's
  • Style: Element Blue (this isn't an invitation for argument, this was a premade variation which was already installed and is now becoming available). See it here


August 2008
  • Added prefix change to the inline forum moderation tools. Helpful with the Auctionhouse forum when people don't specify the prefix.

I like element blue, but the rep bars are broken. It just repeats your rep phrase over and over again lol.

I like it, looks pretty cool. I'll properly use it when you fix the issue above :biggrin: Good job on giving us more options on what to use, although I never had any real problems with Element but it's cool colour choice is there!
 
I think it needs to be drilled into people's heads that TWF's made it to the 6k mark.
 
I like Blue better, just needs the rep thing fixed.


Also, in User CP it doesn't differentiate between Green, Gray, and Red rate up/downs very well.

I don't think it'd be too bad if it weren't for the 318684684 blocks of rep commentary... Aside from that, I think its good stuff.

As a webmaster by trade, I always love it when my users cite the obvious just in case I'm completely blind lol.

And damn right I am a splendid one to behold!

I'm gonna take a look at this reputation thing when I get home...it's slightly odd since I'm not having the trouble on firefox or IE at this point at my house. If there is someone out there who is experiencing this problem (Who has a functioning outside IM program *coughmakelithcough*) I would like to work with them tonight to resolve the issue.

How do i make element blue to where it stretches out to widescreen like nightshift does?

wow, Miros told me about these yesterday... had I known those errors existed, we would have fixed it sooner...

Anyways, glad the element theme is working better for people -- now maybe it won't seem so trivial that we are trying to keep it maintained lol.

There is a widescreen version of both the regular and the blue version of element that we will try and toss up next.
 
I was just informed that the banners and job pictures don't show up in the Element Blue. I will work on getting those fixed asap. :)
