Okay, time for Thnikk's rant tri-nombre!
First of all, I just gotta point out the number of people with underleveled subjobs lately. In my opinion, is just lazy. Or this one person I know has absolutely no subjob whatsoever, and thinks (s)he can get parties with it. LvX RNG. Surprisingly got to Lv30 without a sub. I guess it doesn't dis-benefit you a lot, but if you think about it, all the stuff you're missing from sub THF, sub WAR, or sub NIN... extra damage and accuracy, job abilities, job traits, etc.
Mages neglecting spells... I read a flame about something, and within the flame, some guy said that in his party, his WHM didn't have Raise II, and he was high level enough, but he didn't have the money. Once again, lazy. Like, I can see a WHM wanting to level to Lv36 or something fast for teleports or something, yeah. But get your spells in order... as soon as you can get money, get it. Don't be a cheap noob.
The Vermillion Cloak... eight million gil (ish)... Like wow. I can see people wanting to wear it. It's not a bad item. However, compared to almost anything else in the game, I wouldn't pay more than like one thousand gil for it. Why? It disbenefits you in so many ways. Sure it gives you like 10 MP and refresh, but it kills Evasion, gives sh*tty DEF, and takes away any head and body wear you could wear. I can see SMN wanting to wear it, but every time I see a Bard, Red Mage, White Mage, Black Mage wearing it... I'm sorry but that's just sick. It's like that WHM I passed the other day wearing a Physical Earring (at Lv10).
On a final note (for now) I just wanna comment about selling and buying characters. Yeah, I can see people wanting to make some money off of their character to get some of their spent money back, but don't sell your character. Like... It's one thing to sell the gil and equipment off of him or her, but selling him or her to some complete newcomer will just be shits. All it does is makes more people want to quit because they don't even know how to play yet. I've honestly been in parties in Gustav and stuff where a Samurai has asked what a weapon skill is.
Alright. Now it's time for people to disagree with me and flame my ass off. Ohh- can't wait to hear about the Vermillion Cloak. I can guarantee LOTS of hate about that.
