Just a little observation
Hello there,
It's been quite a while since I've been able to post or even access this site due to some wonderful firewall upgrades they made at my office . . . >.>
I just wanted to take a moment to comment on an apparent contradiction in your take on why you are leveling so slowly. Earlier on, you wrote:

Hell, your equipment probably 10x as good as mine, Passions. Why? I spend my whole in game time helping people. Whether it be power leveling, teleporting, giving advice, doing quests, escorting... I never do things to benefit myself. I got one level in the time it took a friend of mine to get fifty nine levels. What does that tell you?

I don't spend ALL my time helping. Actually lately I've spent a good most of my time in my Mog House just chatting to people. But every time I step outside of it it's noobs noobs noobs. Noobs are the reasons I don't level anymore.
Now let me tell you a little story:
Many, many moons ago, when I was just a weeee little noob, I got into a party in the dunes. At the time, I didn’t understand the game mechanics well enough to know what a huge mistake it was to think that War/Whm had any true potential in a party environment. Fortunately, along came a PL. We made simply amazing xp, and I didn’t even have to voke unless a blm managed to somehow pull hate off our uber Whm benefactor. Then off to Qufim I went, and stayed . . .
And stayed . . . and stayed.
Many months later, while leveling thf, I again found myself in Valkurm, and was honestly pissed when someone told me that they had a PL on the way. I mean, hey; not that there’s much to learn about thf at level 15, but I still felt I was being deprived of any true sense of accomplishment. The PL arrived and handed out Linkpearls to the party members so that we could better communicate with him. Every indication I had was that this guy was approaching the realms of professional PL.
That PL was you.
So unless things have drastically changed, along with your attitude concerning when and where PL is appropriate, I’d go so far as to say that you have little room to talk about the “noobs noobs noobs” you’ve seen lately.
After all, it sounds like you’ve created a few, yourself.
