i paid for that affliction ppv and it was awesome to see tim get dumped on his ass. it was 100 times better then that shit that elite puts on. i wanna see chuck against wandy again. i think this time chuck would get dumped on his ass.

Looks like Couture Vs Lesnar at UFC91 in November... I think it is for the heavyweight title. Mir Vs Nog in December for the interim title and then I guess they will unify them after that.

I can't really see Randy beating Lesnar...but he always has some kind of good gameplan. Curious to see what he comes up with for this one.

im bettin on randy for this one.

Randy v Brock eh? I'ma go with Brock. Though I am admittedly bias I offer the following logic:

It's like back in the day when you were breaking hearts, stealing women, and crushing spirits on Street Fighter 2 in the arcade. You were absolutley decimating any un-suspecting sucker foolish enough to sidle up and insert a quarter to face you. Then along came that stupid kid, who was like 6 years younger than you, who kicked the shit out of you with a nonsensical non-pattern of full-hand button mashing. He made no sense, had no style, no skill, yet somehow mistook his way into countering all your chi, then went on to lose to Zangief in the first round versus the machine.

Yeah, you remember that kid, don't even try to lie. Randy = you, Brock = the Kid.

randy back in the ufc. guess he has to finish his contract, im leaning towards randy to win against brock by unanimous decision. lol

I wasn't able to watch the fights this past weekend. HOWEVER, I heard all about them, all knock outs but one decision... ugh. Liddel eek

:O i missed that fight. who won!? actually nvm ill google it. lol

Rashaad, KO in the second. Chuck needs to pull up the retirement chair right next to Coture (After Brock breaks him)

PPV didn't looked very good to me so I didn't bother buying it. In a nutshell:

Rashad Evans beats Chuck Liddell by KO in the second.

Rich Franklin TKO's Matt Hamill in the 3rd.

Dan Henderson wins a unanimous decision over Rousimar Palhares.

Nate Marquardt TKO's Martin Kampmann in the 1st.

Dong Hyun Kim wins a split-decision over Matt Brown .

Kurt Pellegrino wins a unanimous decision over Thiago Tavares.

Tim Boetsch TKO's Michael Patt in the first.

Jason MacDonald taps Jason Lambert in the 2nd.

Roan Carneiro wins a splitter over Ryo Chonan .

Roan Carneiro? Perhaps related?

i dont think brock has the tools to beat randy yet. brocks lack of experience will show in that fight.

I'm going with Couture on this one.

Ditto, but not that I woudn't love to see Lesnar put on a good show against him. He just doesn't have the experience yet to take on Couture though, in my opinion.

Either way, it's going to be entertaining!

Yeah I'm pretty confident Lesnar doesn't quite have enough skills yet to dominate in this upcoming fight. It will be entertaining, Randy will always be one of my favorite fighters.. he may be my #1. He has some things to teach Lesnar, but who knows.

One thing I have learned about predictions.. mine always seem to jinx the outcomes lol.

Couture possibly rusty + Lesnar not as skilled but god awful powerful = I don't know.

I thought that at first too. Then I remembered I thought the same thing when Couture took on Silvia, that Couture might be a bit rusty. But that wasn't even close.

Of course, I'd pick Lesnar to beat Silvia too, so probably not a great comparison

It's gotta be Couture. He's the obvious choice, which might be why a fair bit of money will go on Lesnar (Yeah, that sounds like a contradiction, but we all know how predictions go in the UFC). Brock has had a pretty decent, promising start, and Couture "MIGHT" be rusty - on the other hand, you have take into account:

1) Randy = badass - Lesnar knows this, and will possibly shit a brick - or just be nervous
2) Experience - total opposite ends of the spectrum, in terms of age and experience.

I think some die-hard UFC fans still look at Lesnar as a bit of a joke, the old WWE faker, but a lot of people, myself included, have been pleasantly surprised by his performances so far.

It'll be an awesome fight, I think - and not one that'll be ended by TKO/Submission. My prediction = Randy by split/unanimous decision? Ok unanimous decision. lol. I can't wait.
