Can someone, with a perdu sickle, answer his question with a response other then "because I like the way it looks". Because at this point he just talked me right out of a perdu sickle. Is Tred equal or better in virtually all senarios?
Well, I cant say I have tested anything /SAM, because I rarely ever get to do anything /SAM, but /NIN Tred = Perdu in the amount of hits to get 100% TP, as long as you wear a Rajas.
This is what I get with 6 store TP from Brutal and Rajas.

I will post exact comparisons between Tred and Perdu if you want for /SAM later tonight.
But I seem to remember when I first did testing between perdu and tred regardless of if there is an extra hit or not, they still parse the same amount of dmg in an merit party.
I personally rather go with perdu simply because its equally as good in merit situations, I like having the extra +acc for high evasion mobs. Anytime you have less then perfect accuracy tred loses ground the further and further you are from acc cap, because your guaranteed critical can miss.
At least those were my reasons. I dont care about looks, personally, i care about numbers.
