what gets me most is people bring up arguments against WSM and he spews the same damn thing just worded differently every time honestly anyone so worried about the gender of another player is truely not comfortaby with thier own sexuallity so WSM when are you going to come out of the closetI promise you will feel better about yourself besides non eof us women would want anything to do with your ass after the sexist and immature comments that spew from your noise hole. Normally I wouldn't even mention this but after reading through most of the responses under this thread I've noticed one important fact most people seem to have ignored. The original post was a question about why there were so many more RL females in this game than any other MMORPG and 95% of the postings under it are attacks on someone. Shouldn't we instead just be thankful there are so many more RL females here than other games? I mean without them this game wouldn't be nearly so entertaining or interesting. Some of my closest friends are women and the main reason I stay despite the crappy server conditions we've been experiencing lately.

Can't we all just get along people? :D

On topic:
My personal experience with this is too limited, but my guesstimate is that there is more girls playing RPGs than FPSs online. I love that there is a female population on this server, because generally I get along better with women than with men.


Off topic, but threadrelated:
I don't care if some insecure moron thinks I'm gay for playing a female character. Why?

1. I'm secure with my heterosexuality. I am not attracted to men. If someone wants to call me gay, whatever.

2. I play a character I created before playing FFXI.

3. I prefer looking at a female toon all day instead of one of the male ones. If Aalea hadn't been human (hume) before FF, she would probably had been Mithra.

4. I am not Aalea, I only play Aalea.

5. This is a Role Playing Game. If you identify with your char, fine, if not, fine too!

6. The male toons in this game, with some exceptions (Galka, Pauk-char, Baldy, some of the Elvaans) all look like members of N'Sync/BBB. Tarus are an exception because they are so damn cute, gender notwithstanding.

7. If I /emote with male chars it is with people I know and who knows me, acting in character is part of RPG.

8. No I don't have any desires of acting out the "woman in me". If I were a woman I would probably be gay...

9. Guess you've never played Tomb Raider, since it has a female hero then?

/em gets a headache from reading all those WSM posts...
