More Sony Mishaps

no.. you read me wrong.. I said I don't pay attention to people that have shown such fanboyism in the past.

Charging people for betas and demo downloads is pretty fucking cocky/ignorant if you ask me, fanboyism or not. Both Microsoft and Nintendo are doing that part of downloadable content free of charge.

thought you had to pay to download the old nintendo games on Wii... hmmm that's awesome if not.

New content(ie. games you didn't already have) you have to pay for, but updates to the games are free.

Selective readings bad, okay? I didn't say the Virtual Console is free. DEMOS are. Sony's charging $1 for demos.

Sony is charging 100 Yen for demos, they have not announced a price for the American... ...mostly anything. And, as far as I know, the Wii will not be able to download demos.

WiiConnect24 sir. DS Demos.

And 100 Yen is roughly $1.00. It's like 90~ cents. But given the fact that the price cut is JP ONRY, it wouldn't suprise me if they actually charged more in USD.

for Xbox.. don't you still have to pay to go online anyways? I wouldn't say that's free downloading really.. but it would most likely average out to far less than paying what you would for PS3 demos I'd imagine. Has Nintendo said if their online will be free to connect AND to download?

Xbox you pay for online, 360 you don't I believe.

The only thing Nintendo said that would cost money is downloading for the Virtual Console.

Xbox has optional online services, The first of which is the FREE silver service which works for MMOs, The live marketplace to download demos and such, and other misc games.
Gold service is for playing 360 games online and competing against other players.
I think theres a tournament account too but im not sure, i currently have gold. and its a cheap one time fee for a year, i paid 50 dollars for 1 year and another 1 free month, on top of the free month i got just for making an account on my xbox.

Elemmire, Sony didn't even start manufacturing finished PS3s until, like, THIS MONTH. Just a heads up.
