morrigan's robe on quetz.

But why does it have to be so ugly? D:
You telling me you would rather wear the ugly errant body then this thing:shok:

As for priority rdm would get a lot more use out of it due to the fact that a rdm normally don't rest anyway. As barajatt has stated it like combining dalmatica and crimson mail together and add str for when you solo or tanking.
With this body a rdm would never have use another body ever again.(except maybe macro in AF2 body for shadows and af+1 for resting and high resist mobs [However with as much other enf gear out there I doubt you have to use it].) A blu might use this, a rdm will use this.

What the hell are you talking about? Of course a BLU would use it. A BLM would use it too. So would a RDM as you stated. You are trying to argue that a piece that allows a RDM to not use gear swaps is somehow a viable reason for giving them priority on this. Its good for all the damn jobs that can equip it, why set priority on an item that benefits all jobs that can use it.

uh? what is stopping you from macroing in errant after 6 tics(20sec for first mp regen) and then 3 tics (10)?
Yes, but that's not what we were talking about. As a whole, Errant would give you more MP back past first tick then Morrigan.

What kind of a RDM wouldn't switch gear but instead use an inadequate peice?

honestly I think should go to the one with attendance, but the argument is who would get the most use out of it. Which personally I think rdm would, but I'm a rdm so that might be a bias response, I just know if I had this body it would never leave my body section when on rdm.

This is not inadequate peice it is the best peice I'd trade 2 int/mnd for 1 tic refresh

In my opinion its better then a Dalmatica too....

And its nice to see it on a rdm first where it belongs.

Should be RDM > BLM > BLU on this piece but alot of blms, with all the body pieces available to them, seem to think it should go to blms first.

You're an idiot.
Why the hell does RDM need to nuke?

What kind of a RDM wouldn't switch gear but instead use an inadequate peice?

The kind that has worked out that carrying the optimal piece for Enfeebling Accuracy, Enfeebling Potency, maximum MP usage, maximum MP regeneration, and combination Elemental accuracy/potency (not to mention Enhancing/Dark/-enmity gear and full INT gear) takes up more inventory than is currently allowed. As far as body pieces go, Morrigan Body and AF+1 Body combined would be 3INT/MND short of meeting all of these requirements at a cost of only 2 equipment slots.

You have 60 slots plus you don't have to carry it all at once just what is best for the next fight you are going too.

I SURELY hope you're not TP'ing in BLU AF body though <.<

And Homam isn't really better. Homam Body gives around 2.5 Tripple Attack. Auto Refresh will allow you to cast more spells, and the attack will raise your damage slightly. So in the long run, Morrigan will most likely outdamage Homam.

Idk, +5 Att +5Acc vs +15Acc 2.5% Triple Attack. I don't think the +5 Att out does the extra swings from TA. I know it seems like I rarely notice a difference on average from Att+ unless it's a big boost.

And the crash in the economy has left me short on gil for a while, so I am lacking a good TP body piece. As far as casting more spells, I usually keep an eye on my MP. Most worthwhile blue magic doesn't even require a full 100mp per spell, so it's very easy to catch when your mp is dipping too low (below 300~ in most spots for me). That's usually when the vermy goes on, and when I get this piece, that's when I will put it on for refresh.

I think Courtney's response was a good one. There are people that run into inventory problems even with Mog Locker. Because of crafting, I have very minimal storage to keep my +3 WW...and when I job change, I'm still carrying half of my gear from the previous job I was on. I've made similar decisions on my WAR for certain body pieces, but I choose to always use Amir Boots on the feet with the thought in mind that it is good for both TP/WS but I must compensate my other gear to make up for the advantages I could have macroing out that piece.
I also ONLY do this in the slot where advantages of gear swapping are minimal at most, and performed personal testing before the decision to remove the gear swap.
Someone like Courtney WOULD be in the position to make a statement like this because of the gear she has amassed and her intelligence in making decisions to benefit her role in each fight; but for 95% of the other rdm's out there, laziness would be the only reason to say you wouldn't want a gear swap. If you take this as a personal attack, then you're obviously not one of the few, the proud 5% that can make this decision.
That being said, I still wouldn't lean to giving RDM priority on this simply for the fact it reduces the amount of gear swaps necessary, but as I stated in my first post regarding priorities, I'm not in the position to make this decision, its merely my opinion.

You've given me more than enough quotes already hellstorm...please stop.

Why on god's green earth would you think that adding STR is going to help you TANK as a rdm...

From what I have heard courtney is a great RDM I'm not trying to nock her. Most red mages still use it because they are lazy. It is still only the best peice for nuking. I know plenty about not having enough space I have nin/whm/smn/bst/brd gear and 94 cloth. My comments were more for hellstorm because most RDM aren't like courtney.

What would I know. I associate with gimps who still TP in Sniper Rings...

what humors me is that i really just posted it for people to see.... never thought it'd actually develop into any conversation Oo haha

Don't forget the +8 STR either, which is raising the damage curve and also meaning it's really +9 attack, not +5. I think that's kinda comparable to the 2.5% Triple Attack. Whether the 10 accuracy difference is significant is probably a bigger question (depending on other accuracy gear, use of Warm-Up or not, choice of food, what mob you're fighting ...).

Then again, non-endgame gimps like me plan to TP in Assault Jerkin (maybe Vermy if really strapped for MP) and macro in AF for spells and WS, so discussion of item I won't have #1 vs. item I won't have #2 is kinda theoretical as far as I'm concerned. XD

I know a Goldsmith who could hook them up with flame rings to tp in...or maybe they should just go all out L33t with that +1 Haste ring

Your a bigger idiot, who says its for nuking only?

Auto-Refresh with +8 INT and +8 MND in one piece is godly for a rdm retard.

Why don't you go ninja lot some else fag.
