Good for Martyr/Devotion

I'd be interested in the Magic Defense Bonus as PLD/WHM tbh...the mp/hp supply is very nice as well. Even without the whm sub, I think this would be a great Casting HNM tanking piece...my only fallback would be when tanking I try to use as few Head/Body/Leg/feet/hands gearswaps as possible to eliminate the loss of target when your character blinks...it would be pretty tough to turn away 12 shield skill when the HNM isn't casting.

If I had gotten them (which I didn't, Mirewen did) and if I were currently doing end-game (which I'm not) I would probably use those a lot vs hnms on my whm and probably also on my brd. The MDB is really nice as is the Resist Silence and it's a decent amount of +mp without having to give up any hp. And of course as mentioned, your devotion/martyr wouldn't suffer on whm as much as other popular pieces like Rostrums. I could see other jobs using them to macro on for things like -ga spells or whatever.

well, I'm not too interested in the MAB. I have 56 MAD as it is on my WHM, so that's almost -50% magic damage taken, which it caps out at. Although I suppose having 60 MAD would be better then 56 xD. I'd still mainly want it for Devotion/Martyr, though.
