Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland. I don't remember anything about it, except for the fact that when I saw it as a child, I cried near the end. Like, a lot.

I think I cried the first time I saw Optimus Prime die in the cartoon Transformers movie. I remember being super sad, and being mad at my parents for buying me the movie.

Also, Grave of the Fireflies got me the first time I saw it. That was some depressing shit.

How about you? What movies brought on the waterworks?

Also, this topic aside, I'm still totally manly. I'll eat a hundred steaks right now to prove my macho-ness.

Big Fish brings out the waterworks with me. I know what it's like to lose your father, so that movie always breaks me down to some extent when it gets toward the end. Peter Jackson's version of King Kong as well.

The Girl Next Door. Not the comedy, I'm talking about this one http://imdb.com/title/tt0830558/. One of the most horrible movies ever, and not horrible "bad", but horrible in that the events are horrible. Closest I've ever been to crying in my adult years. Its just so sad and horrible. The person playing Meg is a terrific actress and makes the movie feel alive and touching. Well worth watching, if only for the strong feelings it provokes. This is one movie I'll never forget.

Don't watch it with your girlfriends though. My friend decided to not have sex again ever.

The following link is the event the movie and book is based on: http://www.crimelibrary.com/notorious_murders/young/likens/1.html

Meet the Robinsons after they all rescue him from the dinosaur. That was sad times. Thats the only one I can think of recently...

This is a long list >_> I'm actually a big baby about movies XD

The Green Mile made me cry like a lost child.

American Tale >_>; poor Fival...

Braveheart. I'm convinced that if you don't even get choked up at the end, you're inhuman.

Dances with Wolves. I watched this in my Anthro class in High School. Two Socks and Cisco... yeah I cried in the middle of class, lol.

The Green Mile - for obvious reasons .. big scary guy was afraid of the dark.. made me want to give him huggles.

Finding Neverland - so sad but so happy at the same time.

Moulin Rouge - I'm a sucker for musical romance. >.>;

Ohhh Finding Neverland thats a great one!!! Love Moulin Rouge too!!
Morwen I'm so glad I'm not tha only one who cried at that part of Dances with Wolves, never watched it again!
Also (yeah yeah yeah I know chick flick) Titanic!

The Passion of the Christ
The Notebook - cried when I watched this the first time in the security of my own home, and the only witness was my mom >.>
E.T.

That was a fun movie-going experience. I'm sitting there in the theater doing my best not to cry and thus avoid teasing from Neyla, and then I look over and he's got tears in his eyes. /sigh

This is a tough list. The movies that made me choke up Hillary Clinton-style without actually crying is longer than my arm, so I'll try to list the ones that definitely made me cry like a little girl with a skinned knee.

Deep Impact has set me off once or twice. Old Yeller is another. God help me if I'm watching The Green Mile when someone else is around. Hearing Aragorn say "You bow to no one" at the end of The Return of the King can do it.

The main one is Wrath of Khan. Spock's funeral fucks me up hard every single time. It doesn't matter how many times I remind myself that he came back and went on to work with the Romulan underground.

Not exactly a movie, but the final episode of Babylon 5 is a waterworks guarantee. I am physically and emotionally incapable of maintaining my composure when I see Delenn watching the sunrise. I was already a fan of the show, but that was the moment I officially became J. Michael Straczynski's bitch.

There are a few that movies that can make me cry, but not many.

Of Mice and Men, any version. I really like the version where John Malkovich plays Lenny.

Dead poets society, and I'm not real sure why. I mean, i know it's sad and all, but I don't particularly feel like I identify with any character in the whole movie. Strange, but that's one of em.

The last is Star Wars. When Luke is sitting in the fields, staring out at the 2 suns setting and the force music starts playing. Not every time, but yeah, that scene makes me cry like a bitch. It's him staring into such a huge future. The only story I can think of off hand that compares to it is the bible. Imagine 17 year old jesus bein a carpenter staring into the sunset. Same feeling. Last moment of innocense before becomming the great hero and leader of people.

Staring over a cliff with Satan saying "Go on, jump. Daddy'll rescue you" is daunting too.

Interesting link; the Garden of Gethsemane scene in "Passion of the Christ" where Jesus says "but not by my will, but by Thine alone, Father" is what gets me choked up.

Napolean Dynamite... It was that bad

But for real...
saving private ryan
Crash
Glory
Life is Beautiful
City of Angels
We are Marshall

The only movie that has ever gotten me to tear up was Rudy.

As a kid, I cried in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. When Vader told Luke the "truth".

As a man, I cried in a movie called MAN ON FIRE. At the end, when Denzel Washington made the exchange and freed Pita+the cuts of girl reuniting with her mother+him being taken away by the bad guys+the song... = (;_; )
