Yeah, I think they do. I know one of the 2 directs the videos, just can't remember which.

The guitar player for Tool, Adam Jones, directs all their videos since he used to work in the movie industry doing special effects, make-up and set design.

Fu Manchu - Make Them Believe

Ah, that explains why all of Tool's videos are...different. Its a good different, though.

Bethlehem - Schatten Aus Der Alexander Welt

Granted, their instrumentals(I use that term loosely) are unique, and it's primarily percussion-type things.. but it's hardly all computer generated. That's like saying a DJ does nothing, because he's not playing a guitar, lol. It's just a different skillset.. and as for vocals.. Trent isn't the greatest singer, he doesn't have the range of Maynard... but wtf, whining? Riiiight.. NIN Is not whining by any means, lol. I don't see how you can be huge on vocals and be impressed by Disturbed. I love Disturbed, but their vocals are far from phenomonal, lol.
Yeah ok I'll give you that, it takes a different skill to do what they do, I'm not saying they're unskilled, I just fuckin hate their skill lol. And stop balspheming Disturbed, David Draiman is a god among men, I think he's got an awesome voice for metal.
And just for your own piece of mind, I'm not totally anti-computer/percussion/things in music. I listen to Manson and Rammstein and they have alot of that...shit, in there, but they pull it off. Like with Rammstein, they have alot of heavy guitar riffs too, where as I've never heard NIN pull even one off, and that's probably why I don't like em.

Spiel Mit Mir - Rammstein

I dunno man, I'm totally unimpressed with Disturbed's vocals... Maynard puts him to shame... Rammstein is fun, lol. Yeah, I wouldn ever try and argue NIN has any sort of guitar to it, lol.

Rammstein - "Du Hast"

Oh I'd definately agree Tool > Disturbed, imo Maynard is the best vocalist in metal today, but I still think Draiman has alot of talent, and a real metal, harshness quality to his voice that makes him so good. lol...it's so funny listening to Maynard talk in his normal voice, he's got the fuckin biggest nerdiest voice I've ever heard in my life, and somehow is awesome behind the mic.

Engel [English Version] - Rammstein
End of Sehnsucht :( I promised myself I would take a shower and get shit done when the CD was over >.>;

Lol @ disturbed having metal like vocals.

46 and 2 - Tool

kings and queens - Aerosmith

You guys are missing the best piont of David Draiman, his grunt or whatever you call that thing he does. If you listen to Disturbed you know exactly what I'm talking about. I don't know what that's called but they need to start teaching that in Rock Lead 101 cause I've yet to hear anyone, including Maynard do that. Although to Maynards credit he screams like a fucking champ.

And just to stay on topic

10th Man Down - Nightwish

Listen to that if you want to hear a guitar rift.

Deftones - Mein

Their new album is...a very different Deftones. More melodic for damn sure, but almost sounds like Team Sleep a bit to me. Its still a pretty good album nonetheless, though.
