After seein' that video I might just pick it up. It's always fun to have stuff pop up on your screen when you're killin' doods. Call me easy. However, with Bad Company 2 on its heels I just dunno. MW2 sure does look sharp though, even though it was only a short clip it seemed to have a lot more polish than the first, and it's a fine lookin' lady.
 
I was down on this game... Then this video got me all up again... Now i am down again lol. I need far too many more answers for this game to blow my mind.

IW is terrible at map design. We can bitch about broken WAW all we want but the map design was leaps ahead of CoD4. Please in MW2 give me more then a circular map with highway dividers scattered along.

CoD4 is the mother of all campers. Every single match, every single night all people do is hide in corners. I dont have the answer but fix this. Kill switch maybe?

Then i need some weapon balancing. Seriously... No matter how good you think you are with whatever weapon, if that weapon is not one of the following you are at a disadvantage.

Hardcore match: G3, P90

Regular match: M16, P90

P90 can be used for godly effect in either mode. Though they "toned" it down some. I dont notice it.

Skorpion with an ACOG = beast mode and doubles as a sniper.
 
well, the p90 is definately godly in hardcore...well in any mode. should it necessarily be toned down though? the range definately should be reduced due to its short barrel. however, its effectiveness, not so much. it actually uses a larger bullet than an m16. not by much, but it does. if anything needs to be changed, its the accuracy. whether the change in accuracy is distance or the accuracy in just the general jumpiness of the gun due to its high rate of fire.

but, in all. yes, its very powerful. but, it should only be that powerful at close range
 
Alright then. I've made my decision, as Activision have been smart(er) about certain recent events, I'm gonna re-pre-order MW2. However, it'll be the hardened edition as honestly, it's much more worth it at £64 seeing as it's a collectors edition and also has the original CoD.

I'm still on rather bad terms with Activision, but like I said, the Hardened edition is much more worth the money.

Edit: Apparently the price has been reduced further by amazon. It's now sitting pretty at £60. Even better.

So... You can now dual weild in MW2. I guess Akimbo is a perk and allows you to dual weild pistols. You are not able to use iron sights while dual weilding.

Yeah this could go either way. The auto glock is supposed to be in MW2... So dual weilding that may be slightly too much even without iron sights.

I would also hope equiping the perk Akimbo would black out Last Stand perk..
 
Duel shotguns would of been interesting...
 
New video up today... Riot Shields, Knife Throwin', **C T F**. Gettin' now, the only problem, initially, with MW was no CTF. You gotta have CTF like you gotta have your Pops.

So after watching the new video...

Not feeling the riot shield. Unless Deep Impact makes it useless. If Deep Impact doesnt work here i will be upset.

Knife throwing.. Hmmm. Will this be my new favorite kill style and push aside my RPG? By the way the RPG looked when it flew by the guy in the video.. This will be a very tough decision for me.

The CTF will be a fun game type but i dont play unless its HC.

EDIT:

Noticed in the video there were 3 killstreak options shown. I am guessing they are all perks now.

At 3 kills there was the option of a UAV.
At 4 kills there was the option for an Airdrop.
At 5 kills there was the option for a Predator Missile.

If by Predator Missile they mean its shot from a MQ-1 Predator... This is just too badass. It would be like Future Weapons the video game.

I was weary of the Riot Shield at first too. The guy guardin' the flag carrier was nothin' short of a beast with it. However, toward the end when the guy capped, he mauled someone in their base, that had a Riot Shield, with his pistol. I watched again to make sure that the guy with the shield was facin' him, makin' the shield in a worthwhile position, and it was bein' properly used.
