Just got home! over 200 people there in line, and many more showed up at midnight so the line was long as hell! i was 5th in line and only waited 4 hours!
Was in and out quick, NVGs are pretty cool, but now its time to game!
 
I really hate that you have to join the party channel and cant have your own private party, really sucks
 
My cousin got it, stood in line for 2 hours. We played it for a while. Nothing but beauty.
 
I was a bit skeptical about the night visions to be honest..as soon as I heard they required batteries I was like ugh and thought they'd suck the big one...getting home and turning all the lights off in my room and turning them on though, I was pretty surprised lol...only thing that bugs me a little is that they're quite zoomed in? Or is that just my pair lol.
 
The IR NV Goggles are pretty damn good, beating out my expectations. Took them outside tonight and was able to see from one corner of my block to the other fairly well.

Is anyone else having trouble with matchmaking? I was stuck searching for a game for like a good 10-15 mins last night before i got pissed said fuck it and went and played some single player. I was in a lobby with Osy for awhile too and that wasn't connecting either so I hope it isn't me. I have no problems with CoD4 and find games usually in seconds. So I was suprised when 100000+ people were playing Team Death match and I couldnt get a fucking game for the life of me.

Didn't have a problem at all. Try again today.
 
i had that issue, i could join sessions in progress fine, but it kept searching in lobby, until i joined my friends room and we connected everytime. Its common for a major game to do this at the beginning when this many people are playing, its gotta propogate and the more games the get played, the faster it will be to find matches in the future!
So far, i love the game, i just finally put it down after my 12 straight hour run, hyped up on tons of energy drinks, nicotine and mountain dew.
I have come to the sad realization that...i am just to old to be hardcore like this anymore, My fingers hurt so damn bad, my eyes are all glazed over, gettin a headache.
Man, Screw gettin old! I want my gaming years back!!
 
Cool, I'm in classes for another hour or so then I'll hit it up again when i get home. Im hoping it was just the initial server rush last night when everyone got home from the midnight. Otherwise from the one spec ops game I played and the little bit of campaign, I've def enjoyed it so far.

I hate COD games except the single player seeing as I can't stand playing with people I can hear online.

Which is why I'm glad my brother bought it so I can play the single player for free without buying it haha.

Was watching him play a bit of it today. From what I saw, it looked good.
 
Anyone playing thru Campaign and not gettin trophies? I tried to check my F-list to see if its just me but i cant even do that.
 
Be nice if you could turn off all voice communication if you wanted to in multiplayer. I'm so fucking suck of hearing people talk about bullshit, or people breathing to loud, or people who have terrible headsets, or people who play music really loud so everyone can hear it, or hearing fucking 10 year olds and their prepubescent sissy voices, or rednecks...i could continue but I made my point.

** I have the game, and I'm watching the campaign as we speak, yes watching, my lovely bf has been spoiled with breaking it's cherry, even though I went it and paid in full ahead of time, and I went in to pick it up today AND delivered it to him to play before going to meet my gf's for coffee.

I think SOMEONE deserves a massage >_>

Mine have this retarded double vision thing, the lenses aren't lining up properly so I'm basically seeing two screens side by side when I watch something. I've tried the knobs to adjust the focus and adjust the lens positions; but I can't seem to fix it so I'm looking at a single image and have them be much easier to use. They're still cool as hell and I'm glad I got them, I just wish they weren't as difficult to use.

Oh, I also don't seem to be able to wear them with my glasses on, but still, they're bad ass.

Edit: I've tried what they say in the instructions, look left, then right, then back at the center and I'm still getting that annoying double vision problem.

I have no idea what that had to do with my post but you should go rip that controller out of his hands and play it if you went and got it.

You can, it's called Toggle Mute. Its a lil bit of a pain, but its pretty easy to mute everyone in the lobby, or hit select and use the dpad to scroll through and just hit A to mute people (on the xbox version). Me and my buddy have been playing all night like that, just mute everyone in the room and its all good. Just like when we'd party in CoD4 and play. Also its pretty fun to tell people you're going to mute them before you do and listen to the hilarity that ensues when they get all pissy.

Was pretty funny tonight, I told this little kid tonight I was gonna mute him and from my friends reaction he must have said something along the lines of "You didnt mute me cause I can still hear you" with several curse words hes 5 years to young to know mixed in, and my friend goes "Yeah because he muted you ya fuckin dumb ass." I died when he said that shit lol
 
You know I've tried to do that, and it works while in the lobby but for some reason it always turns off when i get into the game itself.
