Alright I have a Chihuahua, and last Monday I noticed some things wrong with her. Her left eye was red puffy and swollen. White crud was coming out. She has a sore on her nose as well thats only gotten bigger since then, and sores in her ears as well.

We took her to the Vet on Monday. After not even looking at her, just hearing me tell him the symptoms (at that time it was only her eye and a small sore on her nose) he said it was allergies gave her a shot and some eye drops.

Her eye has gotten even more swollen and yucky since then, and the sore on her nose has gotten bigger ( as well as the ear sores). She's over all dissorriented and lethargic, and there is a rash all over her belly it looks like. I'm really starting to get worried, and my mom and boyfriend both think I'm overreacting.

Can't really find anything on the net, though I've looked. What should I do? Wait and see if it gets better or take her back to the Vet?

I would say wait another day or two and if it doesn't get better, or gets worse take her to the vet and tell them that its been getting worse. I have a Aunt who's a Veterinarian and I'll ask her if she can share any info about whats wrong and how to help her.
 
I'd agree here with Justin. If the symptoms are noticebly getting worse, then you should take her back to the vet. The biggest problem with vet work is its all guessing. If the shot hasn't made her better, then its either a more severe allergy than he thought it was, or something completely different.

Did you recently change her food? How old is she? Have you recently moved?
 
Take her to the vet, and if they can't figure it out - take her to a different one. You might want to try signing up for a Chi discussion board, I have a great one for my greyhounds (www.greytalk.com) and they usually help diagnose everything and offer very helpful tips.
 
Called my Aunt (Was suppose to see her today but there was a change of plans so I'm doing nada for 4th of July) she said that it's more likely allergies and if you got it a shot already give it a couple more days and keep using the drops. If it doesn't get better then take her to another vet and possibly tell me more information that may of caused the problem and if anything else has gotten bad.
 
Iso, did they give puppy a leptospirosis shot? A lot of dogs have an allergic reaction to that. I know my Sophie did. She's half boxer half american bulldog and her little face swelled up like she was Mike Tyson after a fight. Go to another vets office and get a second opinion. Also, if they did give her a lepto they have a counter shot for it that will take her reaction down really quickly.

She is almost 3 years old. Haven't changed her food in sometime, and we are still living in teh same place. We did just recently redo the windows and my Mother is convinced the dust from that is what started all this, but I am not so sure.

I was really upset when I first posted this, because she was falling over herself, not walking or responding to her name (my puppy is my heart <3 I can't help but get worked up when she isn't acting right.) and called the emergency vet.

Moink think we should wait until tomorrow before doing anything. I am however going to be calling the vet first thing in the morning and asking to see the other Vet that works in the same office.

Just got home from work, and she seems a bit better, she was at least wagging her tail at me when i came inthe room.

Sorry to hear whats happening to your little one. I'd say another vet for a second opinion. I'll keep you and your little one in my prayers. *hugs*
 
Well, we decided to wait and see and she is doing much better. Still quite a bit lethargic but her eye and nose are both healing well. :) Her ears are still pretty though.
