After several months of waiting and playing around with my Blue Mage (mainly trying to get up to lvl 50) I finally have my first pieces of AF gear for any job.
With the help of Janko (BLU75/NIN37), Wickett (DRK75/SCH37), and Azgul (NIN61/WAR30), we were able to run to the Ilrusi Atoll Staging Point without much trouble. Any imps in the way (and the last one that aggro'd me) we're easily dealt with. After a cutscene I had my new scimitar.
24 hours later it was Wickett (SCH61/BLM30), Azgul (RNG75/NIN37), and myself making our way to the Navukgo Execution Chamber. We had a bit of a problem with the True Sight and True Hearing Wamouras but we were lucky the zone was close.
As for the Immortal Flan fight...that was too easy. With Azgul and Wickett nuking and firing arrows at it, it died quite fast. All I had to do was make sure to Head Butt it once in a while to keep the -aga's from flying. Thanks again to all who helped me out in these quests. Now all I need to do is get G2 and G3 out of the way and its on to the Soulflayer fight!
