Well Utsusemi Ni sold. So I had alot of gil on my hands.

I now own the following, forgive the spelling errors, this is off memory.

Wise Wizards Anelace
Light Staff
Dark Staff
Ice Staff
Wind Staff

Strike Shield
Darksteel Buckler(for when I level)

Morion Tathlum

Holy Phial

Gold Hairpin

Bat Earring
Enhancing Earring

Full Warlock's Set except hat.(I have the hat can't wear it yet)

Red Cape+1

Royal Knight's Belt +1

2 Zircon Rings
1 Aquamarine Ring(only 1 on the AH, I plan to get another)

So I'm generally looking for gear tips besides a Moldy earing, and reasonable suggestions that is. I have roughly 50k left, but I'd be willing to get more gil If it'd help me play my job better. All tips are appreciated.

you could switch your 2 earrings into morion earrings which are 140k each. untill you get 1 moldy earring and you could change your belt into something else and you could use 1 astral ring and 1 int ring or any other mp + ring

I'd suggest an Earth Staff, it'll help you land Slow a bit better.

For the amount of money you have this is what I suggest as well. Just keep working towards the obvious things like you seem to be doing and you will be fine.

I could say ge +1s of your rings and stuff like that, but hey, you would have gotten them if you could afford them so looks good to me. Same coulod be said for HQ staves. Grab the earth staff since it is relatively cheap, it is also a fun toy if you can find some use for the damage negation. ^^

If you can ever afford it there are little things like earring swaps and glove swaps and eventually you will want to pick up some torques to replace your current neck gear when you hit 65. Don't bother with the spider torque as it is hard to resell and not worth wearing for only a level.

Anyways, your gear looks fine to me.

Earth staff is a must. Also get ready to start saving for an Enfeebing Torque at 65. Either BCNM or buy it.

I wear a Promise Badge for a little extra MND, but the Holy Phial is fine. I have mine stashed away for when I finally feel like torturing myself long enough to build WHM up as a viable sub.

sounds good

sounds good but for most part try and get an earth staff, among enfeebling torque when ur 65+ on my rdm I have

royal guards fleuret
strike shield
ice staff
dark staff
light staff
wind staff
earth staff
thunder staff (usin these also when i get my blm and/or smnr 51)
geist earring
cunning earring
zircon ring X2
aquamarine ring
solace ring
promise badge
morion tathlum
gold hairpin or Tactician magicians hat+1 for the 3int3mnd if im xping in an area under windurst' control
all warlocks cept Hat, need to do quest still but not 60 yet
switch out warlocks gloves for devotee's mitts for the +mnd for some enfeeble spells
royal knights belt+1
and red cape+1
so pretty much same gear so looks good lol

Hmmm.... I disagree with "relatively cheap" unless you're referring to the HQs as it is now about 250-300k depending on the week, and that is double most of the staves and about the same as a Dark staff. Just a lil thought. And to the OP, nice equip, suggest Earth staff as well, and maybe some MP+ rings.

I think Cunning Earring is a much more bang-for-buck than Morion Earring.

Cunning Earring = +1 int, 50k
Morion Earring = +1 int, +4 mp, 140k

90k extra for 4mp? No thanks.

Well if you can (I think like lvl50+ should be able to) just quest the earring yourself. It saves even more money =P

Thats pretty much my character. I swap in int rings and mnd rings based on spell casting. Also swap in elemental staffs. Add an earth staff and you should have all the staffs you'll ever need.

Start saving up for pents rope, or more importantly enfeeb torque. If you can't afford enfeeb torque, go w/ the spider torque, its +5 instead of 7 and around 300k cheaper (last time i checked). Your gear is good for your level though ^^, just keep upgrading as you get the gil.

Change your belt into Penitent's rope if you have the gil, when you hit level 60.

Earrings, Cunning or Morion are good for the +INT.

I use a gold sword personally, cause unlike the WWA, the Gold sword is almost the size I am..

Everything else looks fine.
