My new car !

heh i like the new ones. I'm excited to maybe take a test drive in the new exige when it comes out too.
 
My car 4tw:

1981 Ford Ltd 2/dr

351 V8 rebuild

Anti-swaybar in rear

No rear bench seat, only 25" subs x2 All Alpine system

I bought the car for $50 at an auto auction. Once I slap the paint on it, it will run with and sound better than most cars from "Far East" Coast. Most of the rice kissers won't agree, but meh, I get looks from all their girlfriends, so it's ok with me. Besides, I love my crusier. Can't beat the sound of a well tuned V8. Rumble > angry insect
 
well wether u believe me or not. My car is what it is. My mom put all the money into my car. I didn't pay anything. I love my car, and the sweet new engine with my sexy 6 - speed V6 engine completely custom (execpt for the dumb brakes that's right. Still on it's way from Korea (Slotted).
This is a car people only turn and stare after the sweet sound of the engine or the sound of the blow off valve when I shift. Or the sweet LED combined with Neon inside and out beauty. Some people can only dream of having a car like mine. I'm happy to have it.
You make yourself look worthless by telling me to prove this and that. Because when I do prove it your going to be like..... erm look at me I'm stupid and I don't believe he has a cooler car I can only dream of having or test drive in ....

Ha I could be an elise. But, since I was a little kid I wanted a TIburon for it's cool name. Now I do have it. maybe I'll buy another car when I blow this one's engine someday.

Hell i'll admit the car i have now would prolly loose to that in a race but thats not my point. I wanna see what you've had done to it to get those #s that u are claiming. Especially with the fact that you are only running 6lbs of boost and if u've had extensive work done which u also seem to have u should be able to run alot more boost than that and therefore kick out even higher #s. Im lookin for info so i can understand what exactly is going on under that hood of urs.

Also i dont have a camera so i cant post it but i have a 1990 300zx. Its not fast its not slow but god i love its body lines. And drifting...

Also i got nothing against tibbys either infact i test drove them not too long ago as a possible rep to my Z. (cause i cant afford a 350 atm.)

I like kids who boast that their mommy bought them what they wanted.

Can't say I"m not a little bit jealous, I'd love to have had parents like that.

But then again, I'm much more grateful of what I have because I worked for it and earned it.

Go ahead and blow that engine. See if mommy will buy you a new one.

And go ahead and spout off those numbers to any of the gear heads whos heads your turning. They will laugh at you. I promise.
 
Honestly though, enough of the bashing. It really is a pretty car. You really should've just left it at that instead of trying to wow us with made up performance numbers.
 
Where's the Nissans, Mitsus, and Toyotas?? I'm not so big on the Honda cars (seeing as how you can pretty much build a Civic from spare parts at any U.S. Junkyard), but the Honda bikes are fearsome. Tiburon? I never even knew it was a sports car. I've always though out it as compact sedan. You know an everyday car, not too flashy, not too suttle, just a car to ride around in.
 
Atleast give us a shot w/ the hood open.

I'm afraid that's all it is buddy. It's a very good looking car, but flashy lights and high performance stickers make it no better than a "Pimp My Ride" special.

OK, nobody is looking worthless for asking you to back up a claim. People make claims on car forums all the time, and proof is required before anyone takes that claim seriously. We won't all look dumb. You will look dumb if you don't prove your claim, actually.

You started by mentioning the car has much power, and now we're listening to how you've got slotted brakes on the way and that you enjoy the sound of your BoV...
Not saying you are full of shit. Not saying that at all. But considering there are people that you can either prove it to or end up not being believed, the ball is in your court. And we're talking BoV sounds and slotted brakes now...And that we'd all be dumb for not just going along with your story.

I'd like to believe it. I'm sure it is possible. Prove it.

40 thousand into a Tiburon? Do you smoke crack for breakfast? lol! What I wouldn't give for 60 thousand to do something with.

Not only is there no physical way I could SEE putting a bigger engine into your car and only running 6 lbs. of boost to get those numbers, but why if you've always wanted a Tiburon since you 'were a little kid' go and change it to a Tuscani? (Cheap badges by the way). I'd suggest you own up and let us see what's going on under the hood. Sorry, but until there's a bit more evidence, all I see is someone shouting that they've swapped a few 'pretty parts' and now they have hell on wheels. Call me a skeptic.

I do like your wheels. I've seen many Tibby's with the gills altered and while it looks okay on some. Doesn't really work for me on red.

But... uhh... yea what kind of wheels are those?

/NOD!!! Throw us a bone here.. I want to see your sexy equal length exhaust manifold coupled with that monster turbo. What kind of turbo did they install anyways? I'm also curious on what kind of axles you're using to handle that kind of HP on a FWD car.


P.S. PLEASE tell me 40grand bought you at least a whole new brake setup and not just slotted brake rotors. Please tell me you got at least some HQ 4 pot Brembo's or AP's.. :nyam:

P.S.S. Also for 40grand.. your suspension.. it better top Sneakypant's Tein Flex / EDFC combo...that's 32 ways of Dampening power!!! Hmm, you car doesn't look dropped.. are you currently in winter mode?

These must be the old pics.
Simply find the new ones that show how your turbo ( on 6 lbs. of boost - lol ) manages that kind of WHP. You posted these pics, so it can't be any harder than that.
