Hey all, so ya, full story time.
On Feb 2nd, I couldn't breath, I called 911 and I had gone to the emerg. My O2 lvls on room air resting was 85. They put me on a lot of oxygen and told me I had a normal infection. About 2 days after being up on my floor my BP dropped by a lot and they had to do a bypass thingy(It's like a jet mask that forces air into my lungs), that wasn't working and the CO2 lvls in my lungs jumped from 70%(bad) to 144%(VERY BAD). They had to put me into a coma there and give me intebation(sp?)
I apparently fought everything the entire way. I had enough morphine in my system to take down a 260 pound man and i was still awake(I'm 120 pounds). The doctors were saying I was going to be on intebation for a month and it wasn't looking good at all. They said I might need a perma tranqiutamy(my spelling sucks right now). All signs pointed to be bad.
After about 5 days of intebation I apparently had enough and forced the tube out of my throat with my tongue while in being pumped full of morphine.(I even had to have my arms strapped down multiple times cause I kept waking myself up and trying to pull that shit out). So after 5 days and forcing the tubes out they slowly wake me up and tell me that all signs of the infection are gone. It's as if it was never there and they have no idea what infection I even had. The doctors are sayng what happened is nothing short of a miracle.
So right now, I'm just learning to walk and breath on my own again, which is actually hard. When you have something breath for you it gets hard to get back into the habits of breathing. I'll prolly be in here for about another week or so. I lost a lot of weight aswell.
So ya, thanks everyone for your wishes and I am doing pretty good now.
The doctors were very annoyed with me though. When my BP was first dropping and things were looking terrible I had a doctor named Doctor Kumaar and yes, my first question was if he knew Harold. Not "Am I going to be okay" or anything but "Do you know Harold". lol
I fought so hard to not be put to sleep that they really had to pump me full of so much morphine and strap my hands down. Even after I had pushed out my own tube with my tongue(yes yes gay jokes HA HA HA) which shouldn't have been possible I even tried to pulled out the feeding tubes and random IVs that were in me.
