Myrrh won't be around for awhile

It is the macho man in you dude! OOOHHH Yea.

Glad to hear you are better Randy. But man 15/L of O2...... that shit is crazy. I know the basic concentrators only go up to 8 and 10/L lol. The heavy duty ones only go up to 15 :P

I'm glad you got taken off of the higher levels of O2, that shit is annoying for sure.

I speak from experience when I say that the walking thing will take a little while, though it will probably be worse for you than it was for me, given the general deterioration of your health.

Good to hear you're improving though. ^^

I am so glad to hear you're doing better :)

Lots more of that energy you spoke of headed your way in hopes of a speedy recovery ^^

That'll do Limecat, That'll do.

See, I told you to kick its ass, always listen to me!

I'm very glad to see your safe. It's funny that you were fighting the treatment and not the infection.

good to hear you're better lime cat

Couldn't settle for making everyone you know in FFXI miserable, you had to do the same to your doctors too?

Just kidding, glad to hear you're feeling better. You scared me there for a while.

But enough with the homo shit.

...Not that there's anything wrong with homo shit.

p.s. - lulz at the intubation removal with nothing but your tongue and throat muscles. You'll make a fine wife some day.

But enough with the homo shit.

Finally got my mom to go home and sleep. basically as soon as she left I passed right the fuck out and had a great sleep. I even got her to help me start walking around. I had to have a talk with her about how when I first came out of ICU that the over protectiveness was nice but now she's putting any progress I am making on hold and I can't get better if I am not moving. She prolly didn't want to leave but I was very mind set on her not staying here. I had found out earlier today that during the course of my intubation that she had pushed herself to stay awake for so long that she had a heart attack.

The prongs are going amazingly. Was a little weird at first and they fucking dry out my nose like no one knows but I should be off tank Oxygen all together by weds/thurs.

Walking is going good too. I was able to get on a treadmill today for about 20~30 mins and walk at a very slow speed. I so badly wanted to just crank it up and walk fast as I HATE walking slow but the pain made me not do it. But fuck, did it ever feel so good to walk. Sure my legs hurt but losing that energy felt so amazing.

So ya, the only problems I need to work on now are
1: Legs
2: Weight, I lost 15 fucking pounds in 5 cunting days.
3: Oxygen
4: White blood cell count. For some reason it's still rather high(I think they said 26 or something last, no idea what that means but I keep waking up drenched in sweat)

Oh, and Nyo, I didn't make the Docs here miserable. I just confused the shit out of them. From what i hear from both nurses and my mom is that they thought I had to get a Trach and I'd be screwed. I guess my mind overheard it while I was under and I forced myself to get better so I wouldn't have to have that shit. It bothers me when I cough in public, I couldn't imagine living life like with a tube in my throat.

The human mind is a very powerful thing. It can do damn near anything and I fucking did something lol. No one should have been able to do the shit I did while in Intubation. I forced myself out of that coma so many times(I'm told that they had me lying on my back (I hate lying on my back) and that I was still out cold when I did this but I forced myself up, turned myself on my side, and placed myself back down in a position I was happy with) and kept being such a stubbern jackass by trying to remove my tubes that I had to have my hands tied down numerous times....though, now they know I'm a god with my tongue so who knows what they'll do in the future....

Well, it is *you* we're talking about here...

now they know I'm a god with my tongue so who knows what they'll do in the future....
Hot Canadian nurses only prz?

I remember in January/February of 2008 (While I was away from FFXI) I was also hospitalized for a week with a severe case of pneumonia. My lungs were full of liquid and I had to get so many tubes attached to me everywhere. They had to drain the fluids out of my lungs, I also had to be on oxygen a bit and they bandaged up my side where the tubes were, X-rayed me everyday, did blood tests on me every so often, and I couldn't pee on my own, so they had to put a tube up there as well.

In the middle of the week while I was in the hospital, they took me in to do a bit of surgery work to place a cleaning tube scope thingy in my lungs to clean out all the extra sockets of fluids around the lungs.

I was so happy to finally be released from the hospital after the week, and I know the feeling of being weak and having trouble walking, but after I left the hospital, I still had to keep intervenis of antibotics in me for two more weeks. I was still bandaged up in my side, which gave me difficulty sleeping. A nurse had to come to my place everyday to check on me and change the intervenis bags.

It was really troublesome and torture, and one of the doctors told me that if my mom didn't get me in the hospital when she did, then there could've been a chance that my lungs would've collapsed and I could die.

My case isn't as severe as Randy's, but I am thankful I've gotten through it and I'm thankful to my family and friends that visited me at that time.

I'm really glad to hear you recovered and overcame this, and I hope you eventually make your way to a complete recovery. ^^

I'm glad to see you're doing better! Now that you're alright, looking back at the post where you ripped out all the tubes made me laugh. I could just picture it. Yeah, you're lucky man. A permanent tracheotomy...ouch. That is horrible, you really are lucky. Walking around with a hole in your throat for the rest of your life would be very hard. Most people on here aren't Christians which is OK, but I am! You said you felt something helping you, well I'm a Christian and prayer can work wonders when the people really mean it, and when the person receiving the prayer was meant to do something more in life, and bigger and better things are ahead. Look at it as second chance and make life count!

Lmao, I got bored and read the notes in my chart for the last 3 weeks. Aside from being so fucking drugged up I was hallucinating like a mother fucker my blood and phlegm cultures were....clear.... All the notes say "No change" "Nothing found"

I don't know you really at all Myrrh but I'm glad to see you making a recover. Knowing you are OK now makes reading about you experience an entertaining way to pass time at work.

Welcome Back Myrrh! Glad you are on the mend.

This 1000th Post is for you!!!
