We can get the obvious: Matrix, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars out of the way, 2 of those in production already and Star Wars will be out eventually.(Fox Studios) So the question I've got is, which movies you want to see on blu-ray that maybe won't come out for a while: like older movies you loved but weren't commercial blockbusters.

For me I'd have to say I want to see Heavy Metal. I loved that movie and I really want to see it in high def with high def sound while sitting back and very high.

Cythe's mom 7, best one of the series.

Which was the one where she did that Lacrosse team? That was my favorite.

On-topic:
Terminator 2, probably, or Fifth Element maybe. Oo, and To Kill A Mockingbird. Nothing would be finer than seein' Boo Radley save Scout in stunning Hi-Def.

I assume Star Wars on Blu-ray means new Star Wars on Blu-ray, and if that's the case, {Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to pass.}

Of things not already listed I wish they would release Chronicles of Riddick on Blu-Ray just because visually there is a lot going on in that movie. I'd like Firefly in high def as well just because Kaylee is cute and Inara is hot. I know they are already released on HD-DVD but unfortunatly I can't watch those. Besides I swore not to rebuy movies I already own on DVD.

1 word.. Akira ;) lol

For Anime: Cowboy Bebop: Knockin on Heaven's Door, Princess Mononoke, Jin Roh
For Normal: hmm.. I think all the ones I want have already been made or in production sooo none I can think of right now XD

Terminator 2 and Fifth Element are already available on blu-ray. Akira is in the works.

Not sure about Firefly but the Serenity movie is universal and I believe the TV series is Fox... so in theory Serenity is a hd dvd exclusive until universal goes neutral(which sucks cause I want it in high def)... while the series would be a blu-ray exclusive.

Well, then. Nevermind.

How about The Killer or Hard Boiled? Or anything w/ Chou Yun-Fat. (Except Bulletproof Monk, that movie was awful.)

Fire, is 300 gonna be blueray? That would be my 1st purchase!

300 is done by Warner Brothers and they are supporting both formats last I checked.

There's a high def preview of 300 you can download on your PS3 Osyris, so I can pretty much call that a guarantee for 300 on Bluray.

Also... considering you already have a PS3 I suggest you at least get Casino Royale on BR for now, if nothing else I like looking at that really hot italian chick in 1080.

There is a HD300 preview in Xboxlive also. I was just wondering were its going. That will surely be a huge boost to whatever HD market it goes. Also, can it actually go to both? Or would that be a 1st?
Movies I would like to see in blueray...
Transporter 2
StarshipTroopers!
Maybe Pulp Fiction just for a classic..

Never knew.. Maybe because they usually advertise the exclusives? I dunno.

Not to mention every Disney classic ever. If I ever get a PS3 and can't watch Mary Poppins on it, heads will roll!

I thought Transporter 2 was already one blu ray O.o or was that just Transporter?

Both are out on Blu-Ray. Add the Back to the Future and Indiana Jones sagas to that list.

ps. Blu-Ray seriously needs some Anime, fast!
I don't think HD does anything to animation, it's not like they redraw the series with clearer lines or something.

Well it will look at least exactly or very close to the original drawings. TV lowers the resolution of the anime, in HD it will look better on HDTVs.

Digital Leisure is re-releasing Don Bluth's Dragon Slayer in Blu-Ray, it looks already better. I'm surely buying that.
