bluray

http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Firefly-Blu-ray-Release/9350 Pretty self explanatory. First announcement in a while that I felt the need to yell from the rooftops about. Hopefully Universal will release Serenity on Blu-ray too, then I'll be quite happy.

http://blogs.pcworld.com/staffblog/archives/006194.html Bam, I really need to upgrade my PSP. You are going to be able to copy your Blu-ray titles onto the PSP disc, in a lower resolution of course. I don't know about you guys, but this is a pretty big deal for me. Especially considering the...

I must say, I've gotten a lot more than I expected to. Also done a bit of buying/selling/trading to arrange the set I want the most. Kept pretty good tabs on what's coming and what's out, so pretty much have all I want, save for.. Terminator 3, die hard 3, close encounters of the 3rd kind. (3...

http://www.roughlydrafted.com/2007/08/29/origins-of-the-blu-ray-vs-hd-dvd-war/ This is a pretty good summary, it filled up a lot of holes and only leaves a few out, such as the whole Digital Distribution on the horizon and Microsoft's intentions to that. It's a good read if you're curious on...

I'm guessing Blu-ray camp is trying to outsell HD DVD this week because of Transformers. Best Buy, Circuit City, Amazon.com and Fry's are all doing a promotion for some titles. Here's a list if anyone's interested. ---------------- I. Blu-ray Movies $9.99 each at Frys The below Blu-ray...

I'm a huge fan of Martin Scorsese... fucking love everything he does. So of my first blu-rays I was sure to pick up Goodfellas and The Departed. Really love the Departed, but one of my friends has been telling me that it's all based on this trilogy from Hong Kong. I looked into it and he was...

It's coming out Tuesday, it's a badass movie so anyone with a PS3 should consider picking it up, unless you don't have an HDTV and have no intention of getting one ever, in which case you might as well pick up the DVD version.

Thought some folks here might get a kick out of this article, lol. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/6762621.stm

http://uk.gamespot.com/news/6171498.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=newstop&tag=newstop&title&6=#9461778649273755526 Seemed like this was important news and felt this was the best place for it. If they lose this lawsuit, they'll likely have to stop production of blu-ray discs until they get license...

We can get the obvious: Matrix, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars out of the way, 2 of those in production already and Star Wars will be out eventually.(Fox Studios) So the question I've got is, which movies you want to see on blu-ray that maybe won't come out for a while: like older movies you...

I really dont understand, wouldnt it make more sense to say: "The Sony PS3 Video-game system! Also plays Blu-Ray discs!" I dunno, its just weird to me lol.

"Amazon today started their first Blu-ray sale where they're offering 50% off the list price for lots of Blu-ray movies from 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures and Magnolia Pictures. There's a total of 47 movies available as part of the sale, with prices ranging from $13.49 to $19.97. The list of...
