this is REALLY early, I don't know if it's valid.

One of sasuke's wings was completely destroyed by Amaterasu, but he's okay

Sasuke and Itachi are both tired out and out of chakra.

Sasuke goes CS2 and begins to prepare his trump card.. the jutsu he didn't use on deidara

Itachi doesn't understand how he can use a jutsu like that without chakra (you and me both, buddy)

bloody hell yet again Sasgay defies everything and pulls a number on the enemy, this time on the best villain besides Deidara...

damnit, I want the emo sasgay to die really badly now.

Itachi doesn't understand how Sasuke can use a jutsu like that without chakra, because he's underestimating Orochimaru's Seal...

Hmm as shit hits the fan the chances of Orocimaru being alive and popping out to join with Itachi are lowering, I didn't really think he would die that easy...

On-topic- Itachi is screwed I think it would have been a little more dramatic for Sasuke to realize that he was out of his league and escape then fight him again later on in the anime. I'm more interested in the aftermath of killing Itachi and seeking Madara what will his relationship to Naruto and Sakura will be?

Supposedly after Sasuke's done the author will focus on Kakashi then Sakura and maybe Naruto(or another character and then him)

Nin edit-Do you think Sasuke could have copied the properties of Rasengan and modified it with Chidori or a Fire element? That seems like the most reasonable guess at this point.

Rasengan isn't a ninjutsu technique and thus can't be copied, if I remember right. Its a process with parting up chakra etc. so it needs to be learned and trained, not copied. Otherwise Sasuke would have copied it from Naruto much earlier.

Very true, but Sharigan and Byakugan users can study the flow of chakra and analyze it in a small amount of time, it's even possible to assume that was how he was able to manipulate chidori around his body and increase the length.

That's not likely since Neji can do this previously in his fight with one of the Sound Five by sending streams of chakra and pushing it out of his body at any location. It can also be assumed that Sasuke simply learned how just from training with Orochimaru as Neji did with his uncle.

Rasengan forms 100% of the user's chakra and concentrates it as it spins from multiple directions; it wouldn't be hard for Sasuke to understand that in a short period of time.

He copied Lee's speed with just one scruffle with him in order to make Chidori viable in combat, it's possible for Rasengan but the other circumstance with Neji could also be viable.

It's even possible that he didn't need to watch the Rasengan to figure out how to manipulate chakra, he doesn't make seals anymore for Chidori extensions, he just pushes it out. The normal version does, just read 384 again and saw him do it then use extensions of chidori.

That leads me to believe he is using neutral chakra in his 'no technique' against Itachi or another type of element.

It's so open-ended that any 3 of the above scenarios could be possible or something completely different from the lack of evidence I can think to prove/deny it.

How could Kakashi do it then, Minato?

ps - Kakashi's knowledge of Rasengan is what led me to say Sasuke could do it. Maybe he taught him Rasengan after Shidori.

Sasuke also had years to train to learn how to use it if he did, Naruto learned it in 2~3 weeks tops, it wouldn't have been that hard.

Minato made the technique; you could be right it's always fun to think about stuff like that.

Not everyone gives anime/manga its due credit sometimes as being a good play, novel, etc.

I have a feeling the only reason Sasuke won't die from Amaterasu is because he could see the seals Itachi was using the first time he tried to prepare the Amaterasu. Also, it would be lame if Sasuke died before meeting up with Kabuto again. There is really no telling which direction this manga is going and I love it.

Itachi is half blind and throwing up blood. I don't think Orochimaru cares anymore.

just read the new edition

I have to say, it was pretty sweet of course it ends without showing his final jutsu=/(not the battle, the episode)

I wanna see this happen:

Sasuke pulls whatever his magic 'I have no chakra but I can still use this' jutsu is, and takes Itachi down. But he doesn't kill him, he goes for irony and takes his eyes and leaves him alive blind. Thus, Sasuke gains Mangekyou, probably gets Itachi to spew some about Madara, and seeks him out.

I really don't foresee them killing Sasuke off, as much as I'd love it. Maybe Madara will kill him later or something, but Itachi killing Sasuke is highly unlikely. Would be funny though that Sasuke's lifelong quest to "KILL A CERTAIN MAN!" ends with him actually dying, lol.

Sasuke has a huge winning streak going on if he wins this fight. Everyone needs an ass kicking every now and then, he needs to get beat down by someone soon.

sasukes beat down will come...its gonna happen to his whole group too...but yeah the chapter was good, i wonder what his jutsu is.

hehe, heaven forbid someone doesn't complete their goal, a hero dies, and something a bit more original happens :P

I'm not sure i'd call Sasuke a hero..but w/e, remember, this is shonen jump...the above is against the laws of the universe, it can't happen, like sex with martha stewart

sasuke is an anti-hero.

I don't see him leaving itachi alive, if you can even do that in the first place (and still gain MS+1)

I do think we're gonna see a revelation in the next couple of chapters, though.

I'm still hoping Sasuke gets his emo/angsty/whatever ass killed :| I hates him so.

another possibility

You think Sasuke will draw Itachi into Orochimaru's dimension? He was able to manipulate it to let Kabuto see inside it and kill Orochimaru with it.

Not sure if it uses chakra or whatnot but unlikely since Orochimaru never makes any seals when he performs it.

Wait! I know I saw this late, but did Sasuke use the technique Orochimaru uses that when his body is damaged, cut or burned he just "coughs up" a new one???? After watching this today, that's what it appeared to me... O.O
