Ohh, so we know what village the leader comes from now, might crop up in the story,
 
I dunno about you guys, but it was pretty easy to tell what Leader looked like looooong ago. With the exception of the ear piercings, and the Rain headband, everything else about his head had been revieled. Lower face, eye details, hair style and color.

Wonder if the Rain Gennin will end up as the new Akatsuki members. There were three of them, and theres three openings - Deidara, Hidan, and Kakuzu. Well, four if you still count Orochimaru, but without the ring, filling the position is pretty pointless.

Leader looks like Emo Naruto and the girl looks like what Sasuke would look like if he was a girl. All in all I'm pretty sure that guy must be pretty strong if hes leading all of Akaitsuki.
 
I'd like to see what Jutsu's the guys packing. Never seen Rain ninjutsu's. Even though they might seem obvious, rain here and rain there. Just wanna see how flashy they are when he uses them. I also want to know what village that chick is from.
 
Akatsuki is(was) pretty diverse.

Leader is Rain.
Kisame is Mist.
Itachi is Leaf.

Deidara was Rocks.
Sasori was Sand.
Kakuzu was Waterfall.
Hidan was never mentioned, potentially either Mist or Grass(symbols look similiar with the scratch.)

Tobi and Zetsu are still unknown as well, with no headbands present yet.

She could possibly be from Clouds, or Moon. Those are the only two remaining canonical villages left. I'd be willing to bet Moon, though. As the only mention of it was a few people with the headband during the Chunin exam, so its techniques are still a complete mystery.

One thing I was curious about, why the hell is the leaf village the only one pumping out these ungodly strong ninjas? They have the Uchiha clan, who were all great(except obito), with Itachi being a good example of how strong they can be; and then they're the only village with sannin. I could understand that there wouldn't be as much explanation about the super ninjas from other villages, but there should be at least something about them. It's like there's something in the water in Konoha or something.

The best that they've done so far is Zabuza or Akatsuki, but that's only a couple of ninjas at best from each village while Konoha has at least 4.
 
Well, I think thats the whole premise behind making Akatsuki so diverse. To show that the Leaf Village doesn't have some kind of stranglehold on ungodly powerful Ninja. I mean, look at Hidan and Kakuzu. Kakuzu had fought the First Hokage, and lived for generations to come. Hidan had quite possibly the most broken ability ever to be introduced, the only issue was the very large and easily exploitable Achilles' Heel.

But yeah, outside of Leaf, only Sand and Mist have shown to pump out some serious contenders on a regular basis. Zabuza, Kisame, and Suigetsu, and the Sand siblings and Baki. Sure, we don't know anything about Baki's abilities. But he was assigned to watch over Gaara when he was homocidal, so he has to be pretty strong. And you can't disregard Temari and Kankuro - They took out Tayuya and Sakon/Ukon.

There's a spoiler rumor out that Sasuke uses Hiraishin to escape.

if so, that's just 100% pure bullshit

It's stated that the chick member is named Pein (sp) but pronounced "Payne".
The other guy (Leader) is not named but it is stated that he is NOT yondaime...

so I'm guessing it's part of the new chapter that is coming out.
the picture isn't clear but reader's/scanner's have said that it's not yondaime.

I'm quite I am quite intreagued as to why that city is so much more advanced than is the apparant standard in the naruto universe. I mean, you see radios and whatnot, but a massive advanced city seems a slight odd.

Also, I'm wondering if that lass is the leaders bitch. Could happen. But it seems like everyone is going to head towards the explosion and either massive amount of talking, or awesome fighting will ensue.

I'm not exactly clear as to what happened here, but it seems that even completely drained like that, sasuke managed to put a genjutsu on orochimaru's snake summon and use him to escape. Something like that, at least.

Akatsuki thinks he's dead, and that seems to have pissed off Itachi quite a bit

I'm really not clear as to how he summoned the snake, used it, got away with it, or anything like that, but it's total bullshit that he would have the chakra to do so

I need to find a download first, hehe.. if Tobi died as well it'd be as lame as with Hidan and Kakuza.. introducing a character, killing him off before no explanation was given for him

And I doubt they could fill Kakuza's position, Skaw. Remember, Konoha has his body so they have his ring. Arguably they have Hidan's ring but maybe not.. it's buried with him, but Zetsu might be able to get it back since he can go through the ground so easily and whatnot. Deidara's ring prolly went BOOM with him.

As for Rein looking like Sasuke if he was a girl, we have that, her name is Karin :P stupid ugly ass whore.

Edit: Ah, saw it (damn I want an English translation though). Stupid ass cheap crap.. he so didn't have the chakra to summon Madra.. fuck Kishi and his Sasuke cock sucking ways :\

Nice to see a female akatsuki finally but.. really, it's hard to tell cause Deidara looked so female :P she seems to have breasts but I remember at times Deidara seemed he did XD *shrugs* Wonder who that guy is the leader and woman is talking to.

Well, if Sasuke managed to survive, Tobi would've survived too. But Deidara is defiantely dead now.

Well, at thats left for the moment would be Naruto's group to move to that crater, kick Sasuke's ass and his team's ass, drag his beaten body home, heal him, then the real fun can begin.

Edit: Basically I haven't read the translation yet, so I'm still kinda clueless to what Akatsuki said until I read the translations. The RAW kicked ass though ;)

Edit #2: Okay, I finished reading the translation. All I can say is that I won't be surprised if either the leader of Akatsuki is that Madara Uchiha the Kyubi mentioned, or the guy the Leader was talking to was Madara Uchiha. Either way, the leader is now gonna go after Naruto himself and that's gonna be interesting >=D

Akatsuki knows Sasuke is not dead, the leader asked about him and was told "His eyes will surpass Itachii's eyes". The way he escaped was cheap... "space jutsu to fly into a different space"!!???!!?? I expected him to finally reveal magenkiou and make Deidara explode himself while he was away from the blast radius. His death would be ironic that way since he would've died the way Itachii almost killed him when they met. That is what I was getting at earlier.

The leader is a clone of Naruto with piercings! And who was that mysterious guy reporting to Akatsuki's leader? This is really getting interesting.
 
ROFL Sasuke used Manda... ROFL!... poor snake. Yea Sasuke used Manda to escape with some space thing... that kishimoto, always has something.
 
Tobi's probably in good condition. Even if it's a "where's the body?" kinda deal, it's atleast supported with a "Where was he when Deidara blew up?"

Theres no evidence to him actually having died, where as it has been explained over and over again how the Fourth had. If Sasuke with "no chakra" lived, theres absolutely no reason Akatsuki's road runner didn't die either.

That was cheap as hell.
If It took naruto tapping into the kyuubi's chakra to summon gamabunta the first time then summoning the goddamned manda AND using the sharringan to mind control it when he didnt even have enough juice left to move his fucking arms should be impossible.
