Eh, kind of expected that actually. It's been hinted at way too much already in the anime. Jiraya says many times that Naruto reminds him of the Fourth.

*Edit* Not to mention it was hinted at that only Jiraya and the Fourth could use the Rasengan by Tsunade.

Where is the confirmation? The names don't match up at all, so where are you getting this?
 
Uhhm, wasn't his name Yondaime? Or am I getting mixed up?

And why is the mother an Uzamaki and not the Father?

The Father should be Uzamaki something for the name to continue.

Yondaime is "the fourth," it was a title, not his actual name.

I'm still waiting to here where the actual confirmation is before I accept it; even though I agree with the theory.

But surely the Father would be Uzamaki instead of Mother?
 
Yeah, they should be sharing the same family name, so unless there's somewhere else that Tymon is looking; there's no proof the 4th is his dad.
 
Maybe he's a bastard. The 4th don't want to admit to being his father, because he's afraid everyone would think bad that the monster is his son, or afraid people would think he's a bad father for turning his son in to a monster.

It's a lot more likely that the only one he would only do something like that to his own son, rather than hurt another person's kid. Given what they've revealed about the 4th and how great/noble he was, it's very doubtful he'd do something like that.
 
Yeah, The sharringan is a kekkai genkai; the magenkyou is just an advanced way of using it.

That was in reference to Rasengan, not Mangekyou. It's just a ninjutsu, nothing special. So the Sharingan can copy it.
 
Oh, yeah; Kakashi even said that anyone could do what had been done so far, only that no one had perfected it.
 
I'm only relaying what some japanese people translated for NF

They gave Naruto's mother's name, then right after that mentioned the fourth, including his name.

Then there was a line in which they are described "together"

It's really hard not to piece it together.

We'll see tomorrow, regardless.

If that's really what it's saying, then that is in fact confirmation.

The resemblance is undeniable...

If I had to choose, I'd say he's much more similar to his mother.

I remember with that red hair, the constant jabbering and her tomboyish demeanor,
she was just like one of the boys!

but Naruto does LOOK a lot like his father.

Jiraiya: That's why I say I see him in Naruto. (H: The "him" implies the Fourth, but it's not explicit. I'm not sure what to think yet.)

Nope, and not a huge surprise either. Pretty cool though that's it's been actually announced though. But, what implications will that have on the outcome of the story, I wonder?
