early, but confirmed spoilers gave me enough info

this is still a filler chapter, but it gives a lot of plot information crucial to the rest of the series

absolutely no sasuke development at all

jiraiya continues his interrogation with the 2 ninja and recalls his battle with "hanzou"

Hanzou was the previous and current leader of the "other side" of the rain village (pein is the other one), and he, orochimaru, and tsunade fought him when they were in their prime

they lost. he spared their lives if they pledged to be called the "konoha sannin"

so we can assume he is obscenely powerful. he was beaten by pein 1 on 1, and pein was completely unharmed

so, we can now assume just how powerful they both are.

the last scene is pein in a room with some weird things, it says "here lies six dead akatsuki, just who is pein"

so, these could either be previous members, or the people that have already died plus some unnamed, un-shown members
 
Huh. I always thought Zetsu actually ate them.
 
maybe he does, and can recompose their bodies.

I think that Mandara tried to capture the tailed beasts, hence why Kyuubi knows of him, Mandara was defeated, Tobi is trying to continue his legacy, and finish his ideas. Hence why some tailed beasts were already sealed in the statue before Garaa.

Either that or Tobi is somehow able to channel Mandara's spirit, which is how he can mastermind Akatsuki AND be the clumsy carefree Tobi.

Or both.

Or ya know... he's... acting? Pretending? Being false?

Tobi never was. Was simply Madara laying low, and giving him a way to watch Akatsuki. As for the referring to himself in the third person, I'd say that's simply him being out of his godamn mind. (and conviently allowing us to find out who it was)

Akatsuki has been moving around for a while now, which is why there were other beasts already sealed by the time they captured Gaara.

Madara could be a comical person. We really have no idea.

Tobi's carefree attitude could actually be the way madara acts.

Jiraiya: the founder of the Uchiha clan, Uchiha Madara.

frog: gero gero gero (sound of a frog laughing)

frog: stupid! Madara was one of the founders of Konoha. How could he have lived just a mere 15/16 years ago to summon Kyuubi!

Jiraiya: true... everyone knows that he lost against Shoudai in their fighting at the Village of the Ends. But I have a really bad feeling about it. My heart has been beating fast because of it...

Standing on top of Madara's image is Tobi! Inside his mask, sharingan is activated!

Next week: the past that was known.

remember I only found this. I don't have a main source, someone posted from another site without any link. It could be from the next chapter this week, who knows.
