Yes to the first part and yes to the second...red heads in general are hot and usually never fail to dissapoint.

Gia: He was dying at the end but his heart hasn't stopped yet, I think we might as well consider him dead since...no one is going to get past Pain and live...and save Jiraiya and get out(read: replace and with ifs and thats a low %)

Anyways, I think this was a good move for the plot. I really am sad to see him die but it was good for the plot. I don't see Tsunade dying. I see Kakashi possibly dying though. Hoping Sasuke dies :3 but ah well. we'll see.

I really hope Kakshi doesn't die as he is totally bad ass, but if you like at it from a viewpoint of old generation going to new generation, it would make sense. Well, we'll see what happens soon. ONTO SASGAY VS ITACHI!!!!

Almost the only time important characters die, is to make another character stronger. Jiraya dying will make Naruto, or possibly is girlfriend (Too bad for you Jiraya!) stronger. I'm Sasuke would serve no real purpose, unless it was to make Naruto and Sakura even stronger... I don't see it happening though.

Next to go will be Tsunade. Seeing as how the sannin have been dieing off, Tsunade will go next, leaving room for new sannin they trained.

Heh never really thought about it that way, about a new generation of Sannin. The third trained orochimaru, who later killed him, orochimaru trained sasuke, who also later killed him. Jiraiya trained naruto, and Tsunade trained Sakura. I really dont think Tsunade will die though... at least not anytime soon, really sad about Jiraiya though

Sasuke can't die. The story won't make sense if he did.

Naruto's promise of a lifetime to prove his feelings for sakura, the determination to save sasuke from darkness, the ability to control the kyuubi, and the goal to defeat all of the Akatsuki have a purpose in the story line - to define how much stronger Naruto is compared to all hokage before him.

The deaths of characters so far (hayate, sandaime, and asuma) have not done anything to make Naruto stronger. Jiraya's death, however, would make Naruto get serious. We all know that Naruto isn't currently at a level to take down the most skilled Akatsuki . . . he just doesn't have the skills yet. Perhaps if his godfather died, he will train harder.

Sasuke could die and I think it'd be better if he did. It'd bring a bit more complexity as, for once, a hero didn't do what he set out to do and ultimately failed D: the hero is human, zomg.

What is Shinshin and Hirishin?

On current topic: Tsunade won't die, the story line has it where only she can be hokage, it'd be a little sudden to let her die and then someone out of the blue take the job.

I see Kakashi as part of the new generation, he's only 25 or so years old, Sasuke, if he gets his revenge, I dunno; he's always been a static character with nothing much on his mind than killing Itachi, he's been asked before what he'll do when he kills Itachi...

Everytime it's been a response of...

A. As long as I kill him I don't care what happens to me(@ Orochimaru)

B. I dont know, I'll most likely die in the process(@ Sakura)

He may very well die, not that I don't like Sasuke; however it may be a little late for him to serve a purpose other than killing Itachi. He achieved Mangekyou by severing his bonds with Naruto; I don't believe they can be restored and if so...then what?


I could imagine them being restored and the trio and kakashi fight Pain in one battle

As far as I'm aware he hasn't gained Mangekyou yet. He only gained 3 tomoe status from severing ties with Naruto which was enough for him to keep him going until Naruto went absolutely apeshit in the Valley of the End... How mangekyou is gained is now pretty much a mystery seeing as Itachi said Mangekyou must be gained by killing your best friend and Kakashi gained it by unknown sources because all his friends are dead...

The reason Kakashi can use mangekyou is because, rin transplanted Obito's eye into kakashi and kakashi watched obito die(Read: his best friend)

edit2: There could be more to it than what Itachi said "Killing your best friend" How did Itachi kill his best friend? by emotional dispair? actual death? Itachi could have very well put his best friend in genjutsu and simply errode his mind to the point where his best friend committed suicide. Then Itachi could have made that forged suicide note.

Sasuke tortures Naruto mentally in his attempt to join Orochimaru, the power obtained from "killing your best friend" is a genjutsu based development...

edit: off the current convo, if orochimaru was truly dead, then the mark should have disappeared...like oroch told anko(former apprentice) only way to remove it is to kill him, the seal makes the wearer want to kill orochimaru and will disappear when it is done so.

Hmmm, looks like one eye is Mangekyou and the other is just normal to me.

Anyways, Orochimaru is kinda psuedo alive while he taking over Kabuto so i guess he'll never get rid of the curse seal as long as kabuto is alive... will they have to kill him next too?
