That was a pretty good chapter. I wonder what Sasuke is thinking.
 
must be hard to take sides...

with the uchiha he sides with the ones who openly loved and supported him, but attempted to overthrow the villiage

with itachi he faces the man who brainwashed him into cold blooded murder and to have the truth hidden from him about his intentions(which we still don't know) about seeking to kill him(repent?), but stopped a rebellious section(read: Uchiha) from overthrowing the villiage.


Assuming sasuke cares for the leaf village which is possible but only a so-so chance
 
I'm hoping my friend's version goes through

cave-in, Sasugay dies, the world lives on in happy harmony as everyone realizes how much better a world it is without him :D

anyways, I think Sasuke will just go insane, that'd be cool :P
 
The chapter was pretty cool...just a couple of things that got me:

1. WHAT THE F**K is with Madara's Sharingan...
2.How does Wood element jutsu beat that awesome looking eye?
3. If Itachi was planted into the Uchiha's...how was he planted...how did he get Sharingan blah blah

and that is about it for now.

Sasuke, will side with his brother simply because he is the "HERO" a long with Naruto of this story.
 
remember that the first's jutsu is the only thing that can stop the kyuubi.

it seems that madara relied mostly along it and other jutsu, guy can beat kakashi because he's used to fighting the sharingan by watching his body movements and feet. Can't be much harder for the first

I'm guessing Sasuke will feel sorry for Itachi and side up against Konoha. His new mission will be to kill the "elders" of the village, as he consider them to be the new peoplehe need to take out his revenge on. Thus, he will end up having to fight Naruto yet again

This is definately leading up to Hokage vs Uchiha ish again.

Naruto, son of 4th Hokage, vs Sasuke, pissed off emo Uchiha.

I definately hope Naruto kills the bastard.
 
Madara is telling the truth. Now I understand why Sasuke's dad was like "meh" when Sasuke made his 1st Katon fireball at the lake. Uchihas are evil, heck Sasuke is evil now. Wait, come to think of it the only good Uchiha was the one we all tought was the most evil...

This is getting good!

You got a point there Ele, but it's better than what is going on in the anime right now thou...

Naruto shoulda been dividing waterfalls instead of running after grave robbers, if u know what I mean. ;D

You're taking it completely wrong. He wasn't just a normal guy put amidst the Uchiha. Remember, he was in ANBU. As far as we know, the only Uchiha in ANBU at the time. ANBU take priority from the Hokage, not whichever clan they belong to.
 
I'm guessing he spared Sasuke, because he deemed Sasuke innocent of the treasonous plot. Then fled for not following orders completely, and no one else would kill Sasuke because it would be suspicious.

Maybe he also spared Sasuke coz of brotherly bond? And just maybe Sasuke would help him out in the future
 
I don't think so, Itachi spent the extremely few encounters with Sasuke making him more determined to kill him. He wanted Sasuke to hate him and become stronger than him, it surely was part of his plan. But what did he want exactly???
 
maybe repentence like i said earlier

it was itachi's family too maybe he felt he should be killed like a dog even if it was for the good of the village that was a very dirty way of handling that particular issue so he wanted his brother to do him in as an apology or something.
