She has to die for the next coming of the Sannin. Naruto - Jaraiya, Sasuke - Orochimaru, Tsunade - Sakura. They each trained and learned from an individual Sannin. So, for it to come full cycle she has to die. I seriously want to know what Naruto will do though when he finds out about Jaraiya and his past/family/etc. It's killing me that this plot hasn't been ventured further. ><
 
Who is gonna be Hokage then? That bandaged guy that controls sai? (forget his name)

Danzo. If that happens Konoha will erupt into civil war maybe. I'd prefer to see either Kakashi or Naruto as Hokage.
 
Kakashi would be. That seems to be implied at some point during the series if I recall correctly.

It was that he was best suited for the job, but that doesn't mean he'll take it. Much like how the council chose Jiraiya, but he passed it up.
 
Maybe Kakashi will, and Team 7 will stay the way it is for now...
 
personally i'd like danzo to be hokage...just to stir up trouble and create more drama in the story, i'd think it'd be a nice plot twist

it'd be too easy then lol, he'd have pain all figured out from the info papa frog gathered and he'd just solo just to be that badass.

Naruo and Sasuke and even Kakashi wouldn't get a chapter to themselves afterwards
 
Good :P that's all I have to say to them not getting their own chapter... just good. Sasuke DEFINITELY doesn't need one -_-

That's the point. A Hokage doesn't have to have the strongest Jutsu. Shit, the current Hokage is a medical ninja, the weakest type for combat. Her, and the previous two Hokage didn't even have Kekkei Genkais(maybe even the previous four,) which face it, are pretty broken in the Naruto universe. Granted, we learned why Uchiha were never Hokage, but what about the Hyuugas? Or even the Abarames(Though not technically a Kekkei Genkai, but still an unmimickable technique?)
 
it'd still be a bad ending, assuming pain is the end all for this anime then it'd be a rushed ending, without the bad decisions such as danzo becoming hokage or something turning the naruto world into more turmoil we can't learn more about the other clans like we did the uchiha.

if itachi was just as bad as he was made out to be from the beginning and he and sasuke simply killed each other we wouldn't know the greater aspect behind the clan as revealed.

The author said he was going to expand more on the other characters sasuke first, then kakashi, then sakura; we may learn more
 
Kakashi got Kakashi gaiden...that was cool, but i wanna see when he was in Anbu

fugaku, itachi/sasuke's father was planning a coup d' etat against the village. itachi, being in anbu at the time, relayed this information back to konoha, acting as a double agent by also keeping the guise that he was also a member of this coup

he was ordered by the leadership of the village to kill the clan and leave the village. the third hokage attempted to veto this at the last second, but it was too late. it seems danzou was the one who made this drastic move.

itachi saved sasuke for the intent of giving him his powers. after killing everyone, he said he was leaving the village, and not to harm sasuke. he later threatened to kill danzou if he made any action against sasuke, and left the village.

madara suspects that danzou planned the coup AND the assassination, as a way of corrupting the village.

wow, Conspiracy Theory huzzah! :P While still fairly cliche, not necessarily bad.
 
It's good though, they can't just make Danzou look like a bastard without him being one...Itachi rules even more right now...
