D: Bleh, latest Shippuuden episode was bleh. But, at least the next episode looks like it will have a decent amount of action going on.
 
I gave up on Shipuuden, they seem to love draggin stuff out recently...it amazes me since the manga is so far ahead...but w/e
 
what are the chances that this story is a huge ploy to get Sasuke on Madara's side so that Madara can take advantage of Sasuke's powers to try and fight Konoha?

i find it hard to believe that Itachi would be willing to take his secret that far, and die without telling Sasuke, after all Itachi wanted Sasuke to find him in the future.

Itachi probably wanted Sasuke to play the part of a redeemer, for the whole clans attitude and actions since the forming of Konoha. Even though he played a vital role in squashing the coup, he was still part of it in a way. And for that, wanted his brother to achieve power to surpass him, defeat him, and ring in a new Uchiha clan. One unknowing of the hate it held against it's own allies.

That is what I was thinking also. Now Sasuke might have some hate for Konoha and just be like the other Uchiha. Itachi did not want that and more than likely wanted Sasuke to protect his own life and defend Konoha if needed.

It's only Danzou, and possibly those other two elder politicians, who are dicks. Danzou even broke the promise not to harm Sasuke, when he sent Sai to try and assassinate him.

Yeah, the Third Hokage was against everything done to the Uchihas, but was pretty much out voted.
 
Third was a wicked Hokage though, Tsunade also gets out voted on everything too...

he won't :( as awesome as that'd be... hehe, at least Kishi has made Sasuke out to be an utter failure :P he has yet to really win a fight on his own. And even his own revenge wasn't really his doing XD his own brother pretty much let him win.

Yeah, turning him even more emo is probably a good idea to make him more pathetic now. The emotional scaring should keep him out of the light for some time then =)
