Yes, Kabuto has part of him. Like 50% I'll say. But if he finds the other 50%... wait... I just remembered that the escaping white snake got burned by the Amaterasu fire. Or am I wrong?

Right you are sir, my theory on "Kabutomaru" is that either kabuto is gonna try and re-build orochimaru so to speak, or orochimaru is just going to take over his current host body and start all of his plans up again. Even if i'm wrong about that i can almost guarantee that we haven't seen the last of that pale bastard.

I have a quick question if someone doesnt mind answering it. I have watched some of the episodes in japanese... haven't had time to watch further into it really but Since I am here in iraq I found Haji copy of naruto series, all the episodes and movies in 1 box set, only thing is that it is English. its like 25 dollars for it. So my question is... How is Naruto in english? just want to know if its bearable , but shit i shouldnt complain lol 25 dollars is hard to beat lol. Thanks Mak

Its decent. It was annoying when the VA kept on shouting "Believe it!" every episode, but thankfully that stupid catchphrase is gone. Right now though it seems Part I of the Naruto anime is going to finish around November so Shippuden should start up soon after, hence why Viz have suddenly started panicing again and has decided to release 3 volumes a month again starting February with volumes 31, 32 and 33 etc.

The dubbed version doesn't do the series justice.

However, at least they didn't fuck with the BGM and overall plot.

Other than the censorship involved with alcohol everything's basically the same. However, the subbed version's generally preferred. Believe it!

Yea i usually prefer anime in japanese but Haji's dont do english subtitiles... they do arabic subtitles lol

Yeah, but at least it wasn't as heavily edited as it was in the UK. There is no blood, no swearing, no alcohol and they cut shit loads out... this is aired at 8:30pm by the way, not 9pm, so basically they just placed it there to give it the amount of edits 4kids gave One Piece, but without fucking with the plot and BGM.

He gave a hearty "fuck you" to everyone who cared about him. Badly hurt his best friend, who STILL cares about him. All for the sake of achieving power, so he could be consumed by his own revenge. He also sucked Orochimaru's dingdong. The same guy who murdered the 3rd Hokage, the one who promised to protect Sasuke.

Overall, he did some shitty things. If he even does begin a road to redemption, it's going to be a rather long one. For all we know, his brother's sacrifice meant nothing and he's still the same asshole he was before.

Itachi, holding a tremendous burden, destroyed his own clan, everyone he held dear just to protect the village. He traded all of his prestige and honor for shame. Which didn't matter to him, because he was doing the right thing.

They're not at all alike. '-'

Sasuke was hypocritical at times, it was a debt to him too, he never killed naruto he actually showed appreciation twoards sakura for once; he never truly supported orochimaru nor was his revenge was something he showed great enjoyment in, it was a thankless task that he'd sacrifice everything to achieve.

Itachi's duty wasn't much different it wasn't going to be a thankful job. He killed a lot of himself when he did it. Sasuke had trouble destroying his relationship to sakura and even moreso Naruto because they felt similar pain.

either way having sasuke's character built up in such a matter does make him a good character rather than the stereotypical "good guy" or all evil protagonist to the main character in other animes

It still doesn't excuse him from being a dull emo faggot who steals the spotlight from Naruto like Raiden did from Snake.

it's not like he chose to be that way, when your primary source of love and support such as family is taken away forcibly by the person you are brainwashed into killing was his choice.

at such a tender and the flexibility of a child's gullibleness it's simple to influence them with harsh images to mold and scar their lives.

If this happened when he was older then it would be a bit different and maybe less severe as an emotional impact, because we could assume he found love with sakura and have more friends. Having these would lessen the burden and allow him to not follow a path of pure revenge and stabbing people in the back.

naruto didn't have such a happy upbringing either, usually what's formed at the beginnings of a person's life serves as the foundation for their later years until death.

This is why sasuke is a great character, there's a deep, complex, and intertwisting story to him than a simple idea or stereotype.

Yes, thats true, but at least Naruto looks for bond with other people, whereas sasuke, in his lust for power to kill his brother, cut all bonds with everyone being an utter dick.

As for Sasuke's character, all his character was was "Grr I must kill Itachi.. and grr I must obtain more power! Grrr I hate kittens!" The only real plot for him was when he found out Itachi was the good guy! That royally fucked with his head and made him a little more interesting seeing him squirm. Still though, I wanna see him kill those Advisors and Danzou now.

also remember that his first friend was iruka, then sasuke(in a weird way until they teamed up and it got better).

sasuke didn't have anyone until he teamed up, well directly

I am not too fond of Sasuke either but its hard to knock him for what has happened to him. His big bro acted like the part of a good brother then murdered his family in front of his eyes. Sasuke wanted to pursue him and tried to be a good friend to Naruto and the others. When he tried to later save Naruto from Itachi he got beat up pretty bad and mindfucked to see the death of his parents over and over again. Its not hard to see how easy it would be to say F this and seek more power. More than likely he knew that Itachi would haunt him forever.

Sasuke still has held down some of his standards on not killing anyone.

Indeed, but he came very, VERY close to killing Naruto in his initial lust for power to kill his brother. He pretty much betrayed everyone, disregarded the safety of his own life to train with Orochimaru, then went on to kill not Only Deidara (T_T) but also Itachi (T_T) in which Itachi only wanted to keep his brother safe but was unable to tell him.

Itachi really want to have some form of redemption so he wanted Sasuke to kill him, that much would be awesome about Sasuke... IF he didn't go with Orochimaru.

I'm sure seeing your entire clan being slaughtered is definately enough to mindfuck someone, but being told that slaughtering the clan because it was to protect you would drive him crazy as he was fighting the battles for all the wrong reasons all his life. His Brother wasn't truly evil and genuinly did care for Sasuke.

Even if Itachi didn't seek redemption, Sasuke killing his own brother was just wrong as he wasn't truly evil. I wouldn't mind for villains like Kyoji from G Gundam, but Itachi is different because he truly cares for Konoha and his brother.

Anyways, I'll only like Sasuke if he decides to go back to the village, Kill the 2 advisors and Danzou and say that he forgives Itachi. Personally, I think that'd bring some closure to Itachi's personal hell.

Gerry keeps beating me to what i want to say...so carry on Ger

you know Deidara was trying to kill Sasuke too derp >_>;

but i'll leave it at that lol

I never understood Deidara...how did he get mouthhands? and then there was that one on his body...and yeah

kekeigenkai or blood line trait i'm guessing wish they did some sort of better background he seemed kinda interesting

Yeah, they need to go into alot of Akatsuki member backgrounds to be honest...they only showed why he joined and that's coz Itachi almost made him suicide and that was it. I really wanted to know why he got that ability. I also hope they go into detail about Aloe man and Itachi's partner the rest of them seem a bit bleh...

this chapter still leaves me with the question:

originally, Sasuke was out to kill Itachi, who then tells him Madara is bad.

by Madara telling Sasuke the "truth" it diverts Sasuke's wariness towards Madara and allows Madara to manipulate Sasuke into hating Konoha for putting his older brother in such a situation.

I still feel like Madara is trying to get Sasuke to side with him.

Where does Pein come into this as well?

He was perfectly ready to kill Naruto. Like he said, though, he spared his life on a whim. You can't honestly compare his blood vendetta with what Itachi did. His vengeance would serve nobody but himself. Itachi, however, wanted Sasuke to kill him, just so Sasuke would be revered as the hero who defeated the "evil" Itachi.

Sasuke can't be called a good person just because he was willing to throw his life away for revenge. That's an extreme amount of bullshit, and hurts everyone who cares about his sorry ass. (Though it'd make those of us who hate him just a bit happier.) Once again, it all boils down to Sasuke being an asshat who didn't choose the right path. Itachi destroyed all traces of Orochimaru and the curse seal inside him and let himself die to Sasuke's hand, passing on his Ameterasu, he wanted Sasuke to begin redeeming himself and protect the Leaf village. Whether Sasuke will bother carrying on his brother's wishes remains to be seen. Personally, I've got no faith in him. Plus, we have Sai now.

It still doesn't excuse him from being a dull emo faggot who steals the spotlight from Naruto like Raiden did from Snake.

Raiden didn't steal the spotlight, cause people still hated him. =P

Kojima himself said that Raiden's purpose as the main character was to make Snake seem more impressive.
