Yeah, but last chapter was a bunch of flashbacks of his happiness with his brother. Then when Sasuke opened his eyes, he had Mangekyou.

i have to agree here, kishi has already stated that sasuke is his favorite char but gave him too much power/leniency and he'd go back if he could but...too late now lol

so was getting mangekyou a delayed effect? like when he "killed" itachi, nothing happened but when madara explained the story it became active after sasuke's flashbacks....

i think the reason he got it with itachi and not naruto(if he could) was because being away from his best friend for 3 years deteriorates their friendship, although the feeling isn't gone, sasuke doesn't have the same reaction to naruto anymore...

(hard to say that without making it sound like sasuke and naruto were an item...)

Anyways, I don't think too much of itachi as dumbledore, I was thinking of the Star Wars plot circle with Anakin- Itachi Darth Sidious- Madara and Luke- Sasuke

the plots seem kinda similar, it keeps being implied that Madara is going with Sasuke(dur) but maybe sasuke hasn't left the territory since he visited where his brother died.

Itachi said that Madara is a shell of his former self but why does and did he need another person to help annihilate konoha if he has EMS as well?

I agree that what itachi gave naruto has to be something that either negates the Mang. Sharingan, or gives him at least a fighting chance against it.

And khi the reason that his new eyes didn't show up right away is that it takes alot of chakra to keep it up. And after the Brawlfest that he just had with his brother, he was wiped out, hence his falling over right after itachi.
 
that would make sense, also I reread it...does it seem like sasuke is on the corpse of susanoo?

I wonder how that jutsu works...is it some sort sort of dead being that only lives when it uses chakra? It's pretty much what drained itachi of his life until the end
 
Dunno about the fine print on that susanoo thing, all i know is that its a last resort kind of thing, in the sense that if you use it, even if you beat the guy you're using it against, you'll probably still die. Techniques that are double edged swords seem to come with the MS.

sasuke remembers some more stuff about itachi, gets emotional again, apparently he doesn't have EMS but isn't gonna get it for whatever reason

How do we know he don't have EMS? Itachi might have foreseen him getting Mangekyou Sharingan when Sasuke killed him and gave him his eyes.

Because Madara suggests transplanting Itachi's eyes, and Sasuke declines be cause what they're going to see in their lives are two different things(Saving/Destroying Konoha.)
 
Perhaps its his plan to make Sasuke weaker. Make him blind >.O

None that I can find yet unfortunately. No spoilers have been put up, maybe the chapter is so good that they don't want us to see it yet until it is translated and put online.
 
Apparently not much happens, one I've read Naruto is woken from his dream about Itatchi and is summoned to Tsunade's hokage room, there's a few toads and he finds out about Jiraiya's death then it cuts back to Sasuke chatting to Madara n stuff.
 
Also, Madara = Mizukage

There are 3 different scenarios going on here so I will summarize all of them

Kisame and Madara are talking and Kisame recognizes madara as "mizukage-sama" implying that he's the leader of the rain village

Naruto is summoned to tsunade whom in turn tells him about jiraiya's death

Madara talks with some other akatsuki members and sasuke's team about taking out the top people in konoha and getting the bijuu
