Yeah, one of the rare cases where Naruto pulls off actual storytelling rather than just OMG RASENGAN HIM TO WIN

i'm pretty confused, maybe itachi is still protecting him somehow or he really does have them? The first pic is the trigger in case Madara tries to control Sasuke, the last is Sasuke's true or "full" mangekyou or ems?

The first could be I guess Itachi's corpse or his will acting on sasuke's body or itachi being alive i guess

it could be possible that madara is implying what he is going to do with itachi's eyes now that he has them maybe asking for them himself, which could lead to why he needs someone to help destroy konoha if he already has EMS.

Itatchis eyes appeared as part of the Amaterasu defence mechanism Itatchi gave Sasuke, it was a one-shot thing, then it was spent, hence why it was his one which temporarily appeared, now Sasuke has his own, which has the atom style.

I dunno, it's my interpretation, apparently it was set to trigger when Sasuke saw Madara's face. Maybe when if he saw his face again it would happen, but they pretty much said it was Itatchi's last failsafe.
 
Yeah, from reading it over, it is basically there for when Madara gets to close to Sasuke with his Sharingan(both eyes?) since it isn't in effect now, and it only started when Madara took off his mask

that can't be all there is in the chapter, else that's lame :P
 
I posted a snippet from the chapter. If I gave you the entire chapter, you wouldn't need to read it.

The basic plot of that chapter is what I said. There's just a lot of useless dialog and mushy wushy emotional crap that no one really cares about anymore.

probrably, still i need to reread that, also I found it interesting that madara is mizukage which is the leader of rain where pein controls but makes sense since that's where madara gave pein the order to get the nine tails

Mizukage is the leader of Mist, which is in Water Country (Mizukage = Water Shadow).
 
I re-read 1-406 last week. I love this damn series... The last few, it makes me sad to see Naruto sad. lol I feel emo

Any idea's what's with the key yet? Waiting on Tymon's spoiler ^^ Doubt I can trick you twice.

The Key and the cipher are two different things. Dunno when Kishimoto is going to get back to the key, but cipher is probably information about how to defeat Pain.
 
I'm just curious, because look at manga # 405. The "Key" frog is sitting next to the old hermit frog. He's not extended, but I'm pretty sure that's it. The three frogs on page one of 405 are: The one holding the dead pain-controlled guy, the hermit, and what I believe was the key.

I think they all know it is the key, but did not want to give it to Naruto due to the possible consequences.
 
IE: They key talked about opening up slightly; which is probably what allowed him to go 4-tails Mini-kyuubi. I'm guessing, knowing this, they're reluctant to open him up to the inevitable doom that is releasing the seal. That is, if Itachi's power isn't to control the Kyuubi like the way Madara did / Sasuke could. Then, of course, it would be bad ass. Wishful thinking though... lol

At that point, Shikamaru suggests they look among Jiraiya's novels for one which begins with "ta", when the window opens and Kakashi says "probably this one."

Kakashi asks what they're going to do, and Shiho tells him to read the contents. Kakashi hesitates because the passage is kinky, but he starts reading anyway when Naruto presses him to do so.

マダラ「俺が保証しよう」
Madara: I guarantee he is.

マダラ消える
Madara vanishes.

Pain stands up.

「小南すぐに準備をしろ」

"Konan, start preparations immediately."

奥から顔に黒い棒の生えた小南(さっき喋ってたのとは別。写メとりますね)と何人かが来る

*more like, a female looking character, going by the pictures.

I'll believe you this time because I have read the exact same thing on saiyanisland which had images to prove it.
