Well you can't give away the ending. It'll ruin tomorrow mornings reading before I go to the gym. Yay for 3 days off for first time since march ^^
 
I don't know the ending. I mean, it hasn't even been translated yet.

Is the new female Pain supposed to be Konan?
 
It's most likely just another ninja Pain had defeated and stashed their body away for later use. Since one was defeated by Jiraiya, and he seems to like to use a group of 6 for his attacks, he obviously had to replace it.

It'll be interesting to see how Naruto discovers Pain is just a group of remote controlled bodies.

Yeah, but no Pain has dark hair. Also, he tells Konan to get ready, she disappears, there's a noise from the darkened room (where you can see two figures wearing Akatsuki cloaks) and then out comes the new Pain. Konan wasn't shown again. Just seems kind of odd.
 
Kinda expected the replacement to be Jiraiya's body. :/

Naruto cracks Jiraiya's code, they get to work on working it out.

Pein talks with Madara about some things, Sasuke is out catching the 8 tails, and Pein announces he is moving to attack Konoha.

Uh, he was leaving the area they were meeting. The rest of the bodies were following him. Kishimoto only did a close up on the new body to show there has been a replacement for the one Jiraiya had taken down.
 
The new body looks like a child though, maybe it'll have some significance?

Also said he saw a pic comparing two on 4chan so I dunno. He showed me and it kinda matches face features.

I was hoping he would replace the body Jiraiya took out w/ Jiraiya himself. That would have made the Pain and Naruto match up more interesting. I thought it was a boring episode pretty much until the end. I wonder if the funny glasses girl is going to be a normal now in the series when they are back in Konoha.
 
they never found jiraiya's body though? he sunk into the water and escaped him as he died right?
 
What's up with no funeral for Jiraiya? Just aint right.
