to be fair though, I'm sure kishi could figure out a plot device or work in a plot hole to make her Naruto's mother and he knows it at some point lol. But I'd be pissed if that happened.

That's fucking funny lol

Tsunade, looking back at the manga, knew Naruto's mother. I'm sure Kakashi did as well. The 4th and Uzumaki were together up until Naruto was born obviously. Kakashi trained with the 4th before he died, in which that meant before Naruto was born. I'm sure, without a doubt, Kakashi also knew Naruto's mother then.

Either way, hopefully they get to something interesting soon. They've been dragging out these manga's as though they're trying to figure out what to do next.

pein moves out for konoha, while naruto and the frog sage leaves for his training. he's reverse summoned to the frog world by gamabunta

the frog sages begin to teach naruto Senjutsu, which is harnessing the power of nature and the enviroment to increase his own chakra and physical properties (basically superhuman abilities)

apparently, in order to harness this type of ability, naruto has to "die"

Sasuke begins fighting the 8-tails.

I'm getting the feeling that Tsunade is gonna die when Pain does invade Konoha.
 
Tsunade dying would make me a sad panda :( though it would be the end of the Sannin and I guess a "full circle, new generation taking over from the old" kinda thing.
 
But would Naruto become Hokage so quickly? Or someone else? And who?!

Well, it would depend on the timeframe of Tsunade's death to Naruto and whoever else defeating Madara and the power of the tailed beasts.

As for the sage training, this is probably setting up the kyuubi being extracted from Naruto.
 
kakashi, shikamaru, etc. stand a far better chance before naruto becoming hokage before them


maybe danzo for the final showdown or something

At the start of Naruto's training in the sage arts with the frogs, there is an introduction of a third type of energy used to make chakra, Nature energy(as opposed to Physical and Spiritual.)

But to be able to manipulate nature energy in to chakra, a person has to become one with nature. Or as Gamakichi puts it, you have to die.

Though I guess there could be a giant copout about him having already died during the Tsunade arc back in part 1.
 
Gaara became the Kazekage.

Same age.

I don't think it's so much the age as the.. skill and intelligence of the person :P and well.. I dunno about Naruto on intelligence that a Hokage would need.
 
Question is, will Naruto die now, or when the 9-tail get extracted from him?

Could be a resurrection similar to Gaara's
 
my bets on the kyuubi being extracted...the toads seem stronger than jiraiya himself especially when they asked if jiraiya still needed them to go into hermit mode or use his full power.

although jiraiya couldn't touch the seal without getting killed, I don't think it's impossible for no one to be able to not do it.

Unexpectedly, the 8 tails guy easily stops suigetsu attacking him and defeats him off of the scenes, easily defeating juugo afterwards, sasuke says he'll fight him

the toads apparently pulled a joke on naruto about dying, and to draw out your energy one must "not move" or something like that. if you fail, you're turned into a toad

usually, I only post a few pages of a chapter but this one is really short so it seems
 
Not move? . .for Naruto that's pretty hard. Also 8 tails must be bad ass if he knocked out those two.

It looks like this guy can tap into the Kyuubi unlike others who either suppressed it or can only use part of the power.
 
Well, the eight tails is the second strongest out there.
