i thought they meant he was reverting back to his normal state, juugo is technically a kid though just in the adolescent years

i kept re-looking at that and couldn't see a difference really

I don't care that he won, everyone knew something to that degree was going to happen but it sure seemed like a rushed way to do so.

His assignment was not to kill him, as they need to extract the 8 tails out of him. Hence, the 8 tails lives. Remember, Sasuke is too "infallible" to fail his mission.

vs Naruto...

vs Itachi

vs Orochimaru


quite a few good ones vs Itachi was the best even if Itachi let Sasuke win.

Also kinda disappointed that Sasuke just wins so easily, but there wasn't much room for him to manuever technically since he fucked up twice and his teammates were as well. I suppose the more grueling challenge is how will they get out alive with that guy when the village is aware of their prescense?
 
Sasuke really lost vs Itachi. He was a step away from being killed, if that was actually what Itachi wanted to do.
 
Yeah, I'd also say he'd have lost to Naruto if Naruto was fighting at the same intensity that Sasuke was(disabling vs. killing.) Not to mention he killed Orochimaru while he was basically crippled in the first place. Ooooo, what a feat.

Those were epic because those were cool characters, honestly, Sasuke is only cool when he is with the cool characters, and that still doesn't excuse him from being a whiny little bitch. And now he only wins because he has the deus ex machina eyes. Pre-Itachi you had to admit he had some decent skills and he had to actually WORK. Post-Itachi he can just Mangekyou everything and make everything his bitch.

Also, you forgot vs Deidara.
 
oh yeah vs. Deidara that was the match he ever won that was signifigant

you don't need to win a battle for it to be good imo, look at byakuya vs renji in the manga form

I don't think he's the same character he was before Itachii died. He seems somewhat different, not sure how to say it, but it's wierd. In his fight with the 8-tails, he was weaker mentally and less focused. Normally, he has some strategy to his attacks and thinks a couple of steps ahead, but in this particular fight, he seemed to rush head first without much forethought. And finally, when it was really looking bad, the images that went through his head were of his team and then of Team Kakashi. It seems more like he's lost his motivation and is no longer pushing himself to be better, but then again, its his first fight since Itachii died too.

Side note: Isn't Sasuke usually voted one of the more popular characters in the poles? I know Kakashi is usually 1st or 2nd, but I swear Sasuke was up there too.
