i agree with your sentiments lavi and I was suprised too that he didn't even use Kirin or any sort of diversionary tactics to set up larger jutsu. I think he's still recovering from Itachi still. You also have to remember however that using one of the big three mangekyou jutsu also fucks your jutsu and body over. Whenever Itachi or Kakashi used it, it always had a detrimental effect and using it meant game over for the opponent and pushing the limits on the user. Like when Itachi used Tsuikyomi on Kakashi; Itachi uses Tsuikyomi on Sasuke then directly uses Amaratseu to escape from Jiraiya.

Then his last fight where he uses all 3 abilities. We also have to remember that he lost Orochimaru's healing ability which sped up his recovery time which made him able to fight Itachi after dealing with Orochimaru. His chakra has probrably been halved as well as other faculties like endurance, speed, etc. Although he gained mangekyou the double-edged sword he lost his cursed seal.

At least that's what I'm thinking
 
Sasuke won, but oh shit.. 8 Tails was the Raikages brother. Sasuke is fucked. And Amaterasu hit Karin. Also, the elder frog gave Naruto the first book written by Jiraiya, the one he was discussing to Minato and Kushina in his flashback where he willed himself back to life. The one that contains the ninja named Naruto.

They also confirmed that "That Jutsu" was not 3-tailed mode, finally.

Now I'm actually curious as to what it could be.
 
Anime related - No more movie scenes in the intro. Instead now we have some Asuma, Shikamaru, Kotetsu and Izumo doing some fighting with Hidan and Kakuzu. Awesome!
 
If Sasuke isn't gonna die I sure hope Karin does!
 
They seen the Uchiha crest. IE: Link to Konoha. I'm gonna laugh my ass off if the Raikage 1) invades Konoha or 2) Informs Konoha of Sasuke's whereabouts and Naruto goes to him. Meanwhile, Konoha is invaded by Pain and they kill Tsunade and a few others.

I can see number 2 happening seeing as how Sasuke is labelled as a missing-nin.

Raikage's brother was taken. You think he's going to think rationally? Though, the smart decision would be to contact the people closely linked to Sasuke since they're most likely to keep tabs on him. However, there's no way anyone knows about Itachi on a world-wide scale yet. They may believe it's still him since he's with Akatsuki. Though, the twist in the revalation Sakura and Naruto receive when they hear Sasuke joined them should be a great storyline twist.
 
All battles in Naruto need to be animated like the scenes of the Asuma and team vs. Hidan and Kakuzu in the intro. They just look so fluid and action packed.

did it seem like karin kinda....turn to liquid? look at where karin first gets flames on her and when sasuke puts them out, either way she'll have a nice scar of her little baby's lovin

They where fighting on a lake. She was incapacitated so her use of chakra faded, thus she sunk.
 
ah i forgot that, i thought they were fighting on solid ground but then suigetsu went all water kappa like and got blown to bubbles I'm guessing that's still his water, although at the end they're carrying his body.

this chapter is profane. the most i've seen in any of the chapters thus far

mostly a conversation between sasuke and madara, sasuke talks about how he wants to kill everyone in konoha, how he wants to torture them, gauge out their eyes, cut them into little pieces for playing with itachi's life, how he wants to eradicate everyone that is not of the uchiha clan. throughout this conversation he refers to these people as "bitches" "fuckers" "bastards" "assholes" and a few other obscenities.

this chapter is pretty insane really

at the end, naruto is finished reading jiraiya's first book and begins to cry, madara asks sasuke what he's going to do and he said he's going to heal his wounds, then begin his massacre of the leaf village


This chapter is fucking insane

Sasuke is pretty senseless. I mean, the only people still alive who had anything to do with any of that is Danzou and the two advisors. Kill those and be done with it. I see him either calmin' down and bein' more rash or dyin'. Personally, I hope he dies. I'm sick of this series bein' largely in-part about someone I do not like. Naruto could be gettin' some lovin' from Sakura AND Hinata and I bet you guys anything durin' orgasim he'd yell, "sssSSSSSAAAAASSssssuuuuukeeEEEEEEEEEEE!" That shit needs to stop, it's old.
