I'm inclined to draciot's idea...really sasuke hasn't had much control of his destiny i'd doubt he has much control over it as much as he thought/thinks he did/does now...


then of course there's madara in the background cheering him on
 
Coz madara stole his little brothers eyes. I think it only works with direct family?
 
madara saved itachi's eyes for him in case he ever wanted to do that

naruto is training without the frog oil now, but it isn't going very well.

suigetsu is apparently alive, and doing well.

hebi is musing over whether or not they'll be given the 8 tails power or not when all of the bijuu are gathered, sasuke doesn't really seem to care

sasuke says something along the lines of "i don't need that power, I have mangekyou" which is very ironic because after this he spills a glass of water, indicating that he's going blind already

the guy watching sasuke beat the 8-tails is found hiding near their hideout and is killed, raikage has another rage moment

just my kind of character.
 
bit of an exaggeration from the sasuke going blind thing pretty normal side effect of the mangekyou techniques although I do hypothesize before long he'll need itachi's eyes but the things look like they were horribly burned out by itachi near the end of his life not sure how they would automatically be rejuvenated...


but then again kishimoto has buffed the sharigan quite a bit and it's too late to turn back so you never know

Probably Kishi is making the sharwingan pretty much god like to make Naruto more impressive when he inevitably kills Sasuke? idk....
 
then we have the most arguably most powerful eyes the rinnegan


kinda upset how they left out the byakugan though the sharigan was supposed to be derived from it...

She's always in the dark, that group mainly is....I love Shino as well...


but yeah, there's way too much Sasuke going on right now...it's getting annoying.
 
the eyes are pseudo-transplanted via some crazy chakra stuff, I don't think it would matter much how disfigured or dead his eyes are by now

I'm willing to be that it also has to do with the lenses, so the rest of the eye could probably be completely fucked.

I didn't have any to post until today.

Spoiler:
Naruto has mastered Sage mode.

Elsewhere, they're still working on the pein body they had.

And pein arrives in konoha.

that's really just about it o.0
 
Anime episodes were alright, though I'm rather suprised.. this fight seems like its only going to last 2-3 episodes. That's unheard of! ...Okay I guess not exactly, but still. For a semi-important character (Azuma) to be dying I kind of expected a little more. I mean, they just started fighting in the last episode, and the next one he's going to die? >_>; If it were any of the other captains I bet the death would have been drawn out a little more. I think even Gai would last more than 2 episodes.
 
All I gotta say is... unless they're trying to draw shit out too long, the next manga is gonna be epic.
