To be fair, his judgment for doing so is good. You have to think of what would happen if Naruto was called back and defeated? Keeping Naruto away from the village prevents that scenario.
 
yeah i agree with skaw honestly, i mean remember how everyone was tired of seeing sasuke all of the time hogging the screen time? The other characters deserve their panel time and it helps project the fact that the other minor and sub characters aren't reliant on naruto to take care of their problems.

Granted we haven't seen much of naruto since sasuke's bit, kishimoto did promise to focus more on sakura, kakashi, and another person(dont remember which).

I'd like to see kakashi use more of those 1000 jutsu he mimicked >,> we've only seen a handful not that i expect to see all the other 996 others lol

I don't think Kakashi will kick it yet. Tsunade must die so that Kakashi will take her place; then at the meeting of the five Kages he can recognize the Mizukage as Madara. That's my prediction at least.
 
I don't think Kakashi would ever be Hokage. Rather, I don't think Kakashi would ever be Hokage for long, what with his constant lateness.

Tsunade is not the perfect model for Hokage either, she drinks and is a gambling addict. In Kakashi's defense, I think he's more late because he wants to be rather than a defect in his nature. Plus, his tardiness never effects his work.

Besides, I imagine Danzou will become Hokage if anything. I don't see Kakashi as the head leader type and there really isn't anyone else who can take the roll unless they create a new character to fit that position.

Absolutely not!

He would make it into a military state and lead Konoha into ruin. He is probably going to be set up as an antagonist of the series as well, and killing the communication frog, while probably a good idea in the short run, will only put more suspicion on him later on, especially if Tsunade is to die by his mistake in this matter.

If the battle against all of Pain's bodies gets dragged out, how are they supposed to contact Naruto back?

Plus, now that the frog is dead, what if Naruto tries to contact them? It will get him worried and he might go off back to Konaha anyway.

In the long run, Danzou killing the frog was a very bad idea in my opinion. He could have TRIED talking Tsunade out of it.
 
She's banking her decision completely on Jiraiya's feelings. On the ol' hermit toads feelings. That they feels Naruto is the one person who will change the ninja world. Who will fulfill Jiraiya's prophecy. She believes in Jiraiya and Naruto. She wouldn't change her decision.

Whether or not he changes Konoha into a military state is not of issue, it's whether he's voted into the position or not. The other choices are not exactly stellar and what with Konoha being attacked as it is now, they would want someone strong to take the position who will fight back. Tsunade's death may or may not happen soon, who knows, but if by his fault now, it'll doesn't have much impact detrimentally on Danzou. I don't know the particulars, I have not read the issue, but I doubt it'll come back to him right away or it would ruin the plotline with him as a villain.

I'm not entirely convinced Tsunade dies right away or if at all, although it does make sense that she eventually dies. I think it'd be rather dumb if Pain kills Tsunade right away because it means Jiraya's death is partly in vain. Sure, Sakura has to grow up, but that could mean any of a number of things and not necessarily this moment either.

Naruto isn't necessary for the story at the moment. Sure, he's stronger and capable now more than ever, but it's not really his time to show off all his cards right this second. Let the lesser characters step forward after all, they are the future and if I am not mistaken, Kishimoto said he was going give more development to other characters as well. I think they'll all be instrumental in Pain's defeat or at the very least, his withdrawal from Konoha.
 
agreed, if it makes the plotline more complex and amazing then danzou should be hokage.

if it just pans out as some cliche crap, then the story will become sterile from the sense of predictability >,>
 
You know the episodes going to be a tearjerker when Dattebayo, in their infinite assholism, uses their message spot to hope you have tissues handy.

And I have to admit, I was holding out pretty well. Until he faded and Ino cried out.

Kinda pissed they didn't show Shikamaru light one up. Decapitations okay! Under aged smoking not okay!

Yeah that did bug me a little, after all, ITS GOING TO BE PART OF THE FREAKING PLOT. Shikamaru was only going to smoke until he defeated Hidan anyway as a means to avenge Asuma, is it so hard to stick to that plot driving device?!

Btw, read the translation of the latest Chapter, it was the Elders who tried to talk Tsunade out of it, but Tsunade said that Naruto isn't a kid, they should have more faith blah blah blah, then when Tsunade left the room, the frog was killed by Danzou, he said:

"Now the Nine-Tail Fox is Out of the Way", NOT "Out of Harm's Way"

haven't seen the anime yet, but the manga is building up nicely

wondering how kakashi will fair against pain even though i'm 90% sure he couldn't kill him on his own
 
Well, something is going to happen in the next episode. For better or worse, it's "Kakashi's Hope."

I have the anime DLed but haven't watched it yet. Thanks for the heads up to remind myself it's ok to laugh at others pain :awesome:

I believe that it involves money and like minded ideals. Danzou would love to live in the world of war that Pain offers. He wants the lead of the village though. The only way to get that is to eliminate Tsunade. He can't have Naruto come back as a liability to his plan. Hence, silence the frog. Tsunade knows no different at this point. No one knows. Now it's on konoha to repel Pain back. I can't imagine Naruto figuring out about Konoha from the mountain.

I personally would be interested to see Sasuke show up and defend Kakashi. It won't happen, but I'd like it to. He's already on the shit list right now for not delivering KillerBee.
 
Danzou being controlled by Akatsuki doesn't make any sense. Danzou was the one who ordered the annihilation of the Uchiha clan and that goes against everything Madara wanted which was the death of Hokage and the Uchiha clan at the head of the village. So far, it's hard to figure out Danzou's true motives, his character has not been seen much except for in a few panels and we rarely see him speak much when he does.

If you ask me, he's a nasty guy. I bet he had a lot to do with the ink kid's past or lack thereof (name eludes me) and several other characters as well.
