Yes. Kakashi is very smart. I wish they would give him more credit though. I know he has average chakra, but I believe Kakashi is the most powerful ninja (outside an angry naruto) in the village, because of his intelligence. He has a Shikamaru brain, but with more chakra and many more techniques. He would make the perfect Hokage.


Speaking of powerful. Jiraiya was in a league of his own. If only he knew pains secret at the time...

Yea... and now they have Naruto surpassing Jiraiya. More chakra, better fusion with Nature Chakra, and the Fujin Rasengan.

Naruto has apparently surpassed all ninja in Konoha. Too bad he's still retarded. Just get Shikamaru as his personal advisor and you'd be good to go.
 
Everything Naruto does is because of Chakra. He has an almost limitless pool.

All 3 sanin had a lot of chakra as well. I'd like to actually see something from Tsunada. I mean Orochimaru and Jiraiya were obivisouly equal in strength. I'm guessing Tsunada has to have more up her sleeve.

I wouldn't say he has surpassed all ninja. He's a quick learner. Shadow Clones in less than a single night, Rasengan in a week, Nature Energy in less than two weeks.

But he still lacks skill. I'd say once he doesn't require clones to halve the effort needed to perform his techniques, then he surpassed all ninja in Konoha.
 
i agree, he kinda reminds me of Aang, lots of raw aptitude and power but not necessarily the most skillful or strategic. He's pretty reliant on the clones to get his work done I guess as long as he doesn't fight someone who can stop him from making clones or can determine which are clones and himself he should fare ok.

Naruto can adapt to a lot of situations, but it's kinda depressing that he has to rely on clones even though fujinn rasengan is a impracticality(sp) so it's kinda fair there but with a simple rasengan you'd think he'd have it down with just one or two hands.

Then there's Oodama Rasengan(not sure if we'll see it again)

lol not that I wanna be a dick or something, but if someone somehow managed to avoid opening Tymon's spoiler XD would suck if they seen it anyway.
 
I don't think naruto is stupid. He seems to have some sort of learning disorder though. I noticed that after the "break" into shippuden jiraya figured out how his mind works and simply explained some sort of advanced chakra concept via how the flavours on an ice cream cone go when ya swirl em together.

Well, the whole underlying theme of the Naruto story is that determination means more than expertise. So, of course he isn't going to be a holy shit genius.
 
I'm going to go ahead and make my prediction for Kakashi's fate.

The nail will destroy his Sharingan, he will survive and become even more powerful because of it (most likely the explanation will be something about the Sharingan draining his Chakra reserves constantly, so he never reached his full potential). Then, once Tsunade inevitably gets killed off, he will become Hokage.
