Jan ~ Naruto will no longer be translate and Subbed. Due to an agreement, they've decided to License the series, and start charging people to Pay-per-View more less.

Gonna be real hard to find some decent subs anymore with it being a pay-per-view program. Mainly they wanted it to have a copyright Infringement policy..so..eh

are you saying you care about Dattebayo? Cause the general consensus seems to be, from many others I've seen as well, that Dattebayo are just a bunch of arrogant jerks and they're loss is nothing big.

I use dattebayo, but not for naruto. Its fast and easy, works for me.

Since its been on their website for several weeks, I'd say its safe to assume it is not a joke.

Dattebayo is fast, and generally accurate. Those are the two most important things for fansub group. That's one of the biggest reason no fansub group competed with their releases. So I really don't see why so many people dislike them.

They pull a few pranks, is that so bad? Their trolling is fairly obvious to avoid (the fake torrents are all tagged as YHBT) and usually I think it's pretty funny.

it's not so much their quality, it's good, but there were good naruto fansubs before them too and there'll be good ones after them. Will there be bad ones? ya. And it's not the trolling so much as their arrogance I hate. So I don't care about them and most on other forums I've browsed about in their anime sections when this topic came up went "don't give a shit, they might be good quality, but they're asshats and there'll be more after them regardless"

If you're one of the people that keep sending them useless emails, then naturally they will be arrogant and rude. If I got 1000+ emails a day I'd hate if someone asked a stupid question like "lol how 2 download?" or "plz translate faster", or "when next ep relesed?"

Hell, I feel like killing someone if I get asked if we're selling clothes in a fucking clothing store. I swear some people have the IQ of a cockroach and no way of actually putting together a coherent thought or question. Either that or they are too lazy to use their eyes and see the mountains of clothes when they first enter the door and make their way up to the desk.

If someone's providing you with a reliable and good quality product for free they really don't need good customer service; should be grateful for whatever charity you get.

Why would I talk to them? What reason would I have to talk to them? They translate an anime, I download and watch, repeat. Why would I care what they are like in real life when our relationship requires absolutely no personal interaction?
