Naruto Nerfed!

Well from what I've seen, I honestly like it. The only problem i have is with name pronunciation. Like they try to keep it "close to the origional" yet instead miss completly. I'm I the only one who cant stand everyone calling him "Naa-ru-to" like every sylable must be pronounced seperately, making it a completly different name. Or how they try to make it sound "japanese-y" but come off sounding like a fool.

Other then that I dont mind it too much. It bugs me how some people say things like "This is the worst tragity to happen to anime since One-Piece." or "My ears are bleeding from this!" If you are going to complain atleast point out some things that you didnt like. Make "constructive critisisms" about the show. Any fan-boy cry-baby can whine about it "not being 'their' Naruto". So what if its not "your" Naruto, no one cares. Its hard-core fans like that that make the rest of the anime fans look like weirdos.

I'm no fan-boy but compared to the orginal naruto this is just crap

Its not as bad as I thought it would be, but after watching 148+ episodes (forget exactly episode number I'm on atm) the orginal japanese voices just kinda grew on me and became part of the character. When I watched the dubbed version, it just felt weird watching these same characters with completely different voices and personalities and it just felt out of place. Its like somebody pretenting to be Naruto instead of it being Naruto himself and same with the other characters. Like kids playing house or cops and robbers as they are acting like somebody else. For this reason, I diffenatly agree with rones' theory that he mentioned earlier.

Not bad, just something I can't get used to. I will definatly watch and finish this series in sub only.

But in general I'm a sub fan anyway for I like the Jap voices better. They're just more into it and it doesn't sound as corny. Plus I hate how dubs just edit out things like the nose bleeds. Like in DBZ i noticed that episode 1 and 2 were combined into episode 1 on the dub version. I'm not a dub or die person, for I don't mind some dubed anime, but in general I prefer subs.

What I find funny is they even got Tony Danza doing the voice for Orochimaru.
