Naruto Thread V3.0

I've been wondering actually, could the "Him" with all the answers that Sasuke and Orochimaru are heading for be the living clone of Hashirama that Yamato was suspended in front of?

This would make sense, since Hashirama would likely have the answers as to why Madara was not killed in their battle, and he could be revived by fusing with Yamato whom was also created from his DNA.

But if that's the case, then how the hell does that jutsu the Third (and the Fourth) use work? I thought it sealed the soul away forever :| (for that matter, how the hell could Orochimaru try and summon the 4th if his soul was sealed with the nine tails, well half the nine tails).

Some things don't add up :O

Alereth has a point. When Obito/Tobi was claiming to be Madara he did state that he was the one who gave Nagato the eyes in the first place. That actually makes perfect sense when you think about it like that.

As for Sasuke, we haven't seen him in so long I kinda lost track of what he was doing. I know he and Itachi defeated Kabuto... but I kind of forgot what if anything was said when that was all done. Guess I need to go back and read some of those parts.

That's the only kink in my theory, but I'm still willing to present it because of Orochimaru.

He was supposedly sealed away forever by the Sword of Totsuka wielded by Itachi's Susanoo. Yet here's a plot device that allowed him to be revived. I think Hashirama's living clone and Yamato (also haveing Hashi-DNA) being so close to it is a similar situation. The clone, like Anko's curse mark, would act as the catalyst for revival.

As far as Orochimaru trying to summon Lord Fourth, he apparently wasn't aware that the Fourth's soul wasn't available for summoning. In the Manga itself, the summoning of the coffin itself fails and Orochimaru comments on this. He can try and summon it all he wants, but it just isn't capable of working, as Kabuto mentioned later in the series.

Time to sympathize with Obito so Naruto can make him a friend and everyone lives happily ever after.

Also in this chapter: Poop jokes.

Well, I look at it this way. Hopefully we will finally learn what exactly happened to Rin. It's rarely talked about, but we all know she died and that Kakashi feels like he wasn't able to save her and that Obito blames him for her death (and perhaps Kakashi blames himself too). So, I'll actually be interested to know what happened to change Obito's mindset so much that he starts listening to Madara and gives up on the Leaf. Obviously it's because of Rin's death, duh. I just want to see what happened and how.

I bet Rin isn't dead, but to save her he had to take her and put her in slumber or some bs :O though who knows, others have actually died.

Still, I'd be sad if it does go the way that Naruto makes Obito happy again. That is, if they become friends and such. He better at least die off tragically if that comes to pass.

Misnamed the last chapter. Named it after Bleach.

Now we get to the meat of the plot, I suppose.

Wait it's out already?

Kakashi speared Rin in the boob. I don't think it was an accident or a genjutsu either. Kakashi looks genuinely pained.

Kakakashi was just trying to cop a feel and it went really really wrong :P obviously.

But ya, I'm betting SHE was the one controlled or something and they were gonna do something horrible with her so his only option was to kill her. That's my guess.

Obito gone insane :O

You know nothing of my darkness and edginess, etc

Meanwhile, Kakashi is left unscathed and unconscious near the blood tree.

Also, bonus points to Kakashi. He awakened his Mangekyo before Itachi, chronologically.

Are you sure? the timelines aren't exactly clear for when he killed his best friend and all that :P Also fun how Obito and Kakashi both awakened at the same time from Kakashi's actions.

Well it was awakened at the same time for Kakashi and Obito.. so who's to say it wasn't awakened by Obito witnessing what he did. Obviously it was a very traumatizing thing for him to see, that and his state of mind might have triggered the chain reaction. The eyes are linked obviously because they share similar powers and are both, after all, Obito's eyes.

They're clear enough to draw the conclusion that Obito awakened his first.
At the time of the Nine-tails attack on Konoha, Itachi was just a kid taking care of an infant Sasuke. Shusui didn't give Itachi his eye and have him kill him until around the time of the Uchiha Massacre which was many, many years after what we are witnessing in these latest chapters.

There's debate in other forums about why Kakashi didn't use the Mangekyo in Part I since he obviously just awakened it. The conclusion I draw was that he simply didn't have the Chakra for it.

Even in Part II when he finally does use start using it, it takes him forever to use Kamui and a left him out cold for days. It's not unreasonable to think he simple couldn't handle the strain at the time of Part I.
