Nazis in the QC

If I make a linkshell and say "All members must talk like a pirate at all times or be kicked," that's the rule. If you don't like it, you can feel free to not join, but if you break a known LS rule, there's no room whatsoever for complaint if you're kicked.

Don't like it? Don't join.
Change of rules? Protest it. If it goes through, and you still don't like it? Leave.
Stay in a LS and break its rules anyway? {That's too bad.} {/breaklinkshell}

Ok hi all, Im Takumifujiwara (also known as "longname" or "takumifujifilm" or Tak ^^). I was the one that recruited romp. He was brought in knowing the rules. The day that we had this "falling out" with romp I even still asked him 2 times when he popped into the LS flaming "Stay or go romp?". His reply was "Your all nazi's!". That being said he decided himself. I am not happy that hes gone honestly...For he was there when you needed him even though his attitude needed tweaking for sure. This LS has been home to me since I basically started 5 months ago. They have done more for me that I could have imagined a LS would/could so I have much respect for them. I love this family because we are all friends and really try to help out. I am now an officer in the LS and I see and understand why the rule was made, not saying you have to be an officer to know lol, but its clear when you see ppl you bring in peace out on you after they get helped.

Even now though he flamed this LS I would still honestly party with the guy. I hold no malice for most people especially when this fight broke out about a LS rule that if had been observed, then there would have never been a problem. Arguing this rule will not make it change.

And I really wish you the best romp man ^^ You were my bro so no hard feelings as far as I am concerned. Shit happens simply put.

Thank You for your time all. /bow

...9 pages of crap and this is still being discussed? There have been about 4 or 5 posts in this thread that have really meant anything, and they have said everything that needs to be said. The shell had rules, the rules were broken. Shit happens, so get over it.

I'm personally not a fan of Romps'... he's never sat well with me. From the first time I met him, he's done nothing but tell me how shitty of a monk I am, or tell me how the other monk in my LS is much better at everything than I am. My grievances against him aside though, he needs to listen a bit better to rules, because they are just that - rules. Contrary to popular belief, rules were NOT made to be broken.

So he was just going to say Hi in a friend's LS and you booted him? I can understand why he's calling you Nazi's if that's what really happened.

It's not like you were in a good linkshell, anyway. I was having a bad day, and every officer (yeah, DoD has officers - kind of lame, isn't it?) in that ls, aside from Kaete, at the time swore when *dramatic pause* she was absent. I think I said "fuck" once while she was present, and she got all pissy about it. Yeah, I got kicked from the shell, and honestly, I didn't care much. Nearly every member that I even remotely liked in the linkshell still talked to me (and hell, many of them still do to this day). If your idea of a good linkshell is only being able to tell corny jokes about peanut butter, you can have fun with that. I'll stick with my linkshell that understands the word "fuck" when used appropriately. I'm not going to say, "Oh darn, I just died because this Paladin couldn't keep hate off of me." No, I'm going to say "Fuck! This newb of a Paladin doesn't know how to keep hate."

Anyway, I got kicked for the following reason:

Apparently, as a level 30ish Samurai, I was a leech. No shit I'm leeching - what do you want me to do, tank PLD AF? I helped with things that I could do, which with level 30 being your highest job isn't very much (especially considering, oh... everyone else was level 45+ - I don't recall an exact level, I just remember a lot of people sporting Brigandines). The only thing I asked for help with was a Rank 4 run, which several other members of the linkshell needed anyway.

Technically speaking, I broke a rule (that everyone but Kaete broke). Whatever, I don't care - I'm out of the shell and don't want back in. Unless you're level 75 and can only devote yourself to this crappy linkshell and worship any and all officers, then stay away. Far, far away. This is by far the worst linkshell I've ever been in, and I'm glad that I'm a member of both ThaiRevolution and LeviathansWake instead. You can call me a leech all you want. Most of my FFXI time is spent helping people do things. Just last night, I redid Riverne Site 40 Capped (this is my second time doing it to help others out - I've also done Phominua Aqueducts four times) for my linkshell, and not even a whole week ago, I walked a group of 12 people through the Sacrarium. Two weeks ago, I escorted someone to the tenth floor of Delfkutt's Tower, and I didn't even know them. Funny how I "leeched" Rank 4 and yet I've soloed it several times for many other people.

I'm not expecting an apology or a reinvite. I got kicked nearly two years ago. Perhaps your policies have changed and you guys don't blow as hard any more. When friends ask me about Kaete (or DoD in general) and I describe my dislike for her and her shell, they're usually surprised. Do you treat people outside of the shell with more respect than those in it or something? I may have liked you as a person had I never been in DoD, but after seeing the way things worked (especially the way everyone treated you like you were some kind of god - being too afraid to say anything that might even remotely offend you because it'd instantly mean they were kicked from the shell; even the first post talks about ass kissing [or brown nosing as I called it before getting kicked], which obviously must still happen), I don't think that'll ever happen.

Just be glad I'm not the leeching jackass you kicked me out of your shell for being. I'm a witness to a little act you did that is against the ToS. I won't bring you out for exactly what it is, but it isn't something dumb like, "lol i use the windower and/or fraps!!1!" You admitted it in linkshell chat, so I'm sure other members at the time also saw it. My reason for saying that is that I don't really have a grudge against you, and if I did, I have sufficient evidence (ie other witnesses) against you to gain some form of an ingame penalty.

By the way, when you make a macro, at least use decent grammar. Your convert macros suck sooooo much.

Antor's the fucking man.
That is all...

Antor pwns XD

It's amazing how many people are in really shitty linkshells, but don't realise it until they get booted for not following rules that they knew about when they joined...

it seems the problem some have was the rules being unjust and not being able to fix them? some people stay in a linkshell cause they like the people.. even if the leaders are dicks and suck and have bad rules... they stay cause the people make it fun. Atleast.. that's my assumption

If you know or talk to Artem ingame ever, who was also a member of the shell, he can vouche for me not liking the linkshell while in it, rather just a majority of the people in it, like Elemmire stated. My options at the time were: no shell as a level 30 (meaning I'd get nothing done) or a shell with people I like (as stated previously - EVERYONE broke the rules, not just myself).

Oh, and the whole website thing they have now... yeah, they had just implemented all of that maybe a week or two before I was kicked (or quit - I was in the process of blacklisting Kaete when she broke my pearl). Honestly, she was on my blacklist until I partied with her fairly recently. My current main shell has nothing but compliments of Kaete, and if I had not been in DoD, perhaps I'd feel the same way as them. If you ever hear me say another shell I had was the worst (such as Elemmire's first XD), it's usually one of those ones I got and left within a week. The truth is, DoD blew, and I can safely assume it is probably in the same if not worse condition as before.

doood.. my first shell pwned with all of.. 5 people :P and you got kicked XD huzzah!

Hold a grudge much, Antor? It's in the past, just leave it be. I might have you on my blist, but you're still a respectable player to me. IE - I dont go on QCDN threatening to expose that OooOoOoOO... someone broke ToS.

I never once went anywhere with your name and bashed you, not in DoD, not out of DoD, and not even the day we partied. Shows how much you've really grown up in 2 yrs that you still hold this phenominal grudge against me. Hold on a minute while I stop caring.

The thing here is, really... it was a rule, and it was broken. This flame is pointless, because its how DoD is run, and the rules are explained before people enter. They're there for a reason, and everyone is warned before they're removed.

For instance, since Artem is your friend, you might recall we had a 4 hour meeting with him when he was upset about something DoD related. We take that kind of time to devote to members, and if you dont remember that, then I'm quite sure your memory of why you were removed is also very jaded.

Maybe our next rule should be "Arrogant fools who are in GodLS's that have nothing better to do then complain about one person on the server and flame on QCDN.org about how a girl booted him out of a linkshell 2 years ago are not allowed to enter..."

Save your venting for someone else, if you have a personal flaw with me, why dont you act like a man and send me a /t about it instead of whining like a little boy on here? Or maybe try hitting puberty first? Either way, grow the fuck up. It's a game, and your little post here is futile.

Bottom line for everyone here is, if you dont like the LS, there's always the drop pearl option. Yeah, that goes for people in GodLS's who do nothing but whine about this and that all day, but do nothing about it.

"Bad things happen when good men do nothing~" is a famous quote. Look it up if you find the time.. until then, I'm done posting here. This topic has rendered itself useless.

I think you missed the part where the OP said he was only going to say "Hi" on his friends LS. It was a nice circle jerk your LS pulled off in the begining but didn't quite pan out there.

PS: Do you still think BoL stole the E-sword? 'Cus... we didn't. Thought you should know.

When he decided to go say "hi" on a friends link, he was very much aware of the rules. If he really wanted to switch links, he should have asked for permission. I'm sure kaete wouldn't have had a problem with it.

Apparently they did have a problem with it if he got kicked, lol. It's just rather odd, and dreepy even that one would have to ask permission for that kinda thing.

Well if he thought so to start with, he should have said "No, I can't deal with that." and not have taken the pearl.

Yeah it just doesn't seem like a big deal to actually boot someone for that, but it IS their LS I suppose. They might lose good members over little things like that, kinda sad.

You know my opinion... everyone has a sack cause I dont play favorites, and they shouldnt be there if they arent sack worthy in the first place.

One person's opinion probably doesn't outweigh the leader's rules anyhow, though.
Kinda ironic that an LS would remember to follow a rule like this but so many other LSes don't follow more important set rules like "don't bot/steal/MPK/blah".. XD

(And no, I'm not saying someone in the LS does any of those, don't go misinterpreting)
