I was given this info from a respectable thf and i wanted to know other Thf mains opinions on Nbody vs Dragon Harness on SADE and TADE damage.
If Nbody sucks ill stop worrying about it, and just buy a dragon harness.

From what I hear, Nbody is better for Evisceration, DH is better for DE.

DH is best for squeezing pure damage out of your WS (and ta/sa). However, nbody is a staple for a meat THF's WS. If your using sushi, I'd probably stick with DH.

I use N body but i have been wondering about DH though. You would think since N body has 12 str and 10 acc it would be great for a multi hit WS such has DE but with the 6 dex 6 agi and 10 atk its hard to say. i think im going to have to borrow a DH from someone and do some tests before i purchase even though DH is so cheap nowadays. I hope this thread gets some good feedback because i have been debating for a while now on your same question.

When I got my N.Body I was happy, it did fine. Then D.Harness came out and I pretty much used that exclusively. At the time I had something like 68+ accuracy, and the attack/Dex seemed to help my damage out over all. The D.Harness pretty much does exceptional for SA, TA, SATA, and any of those skills coupled with a WS. Most melee that switch to thief don't understand the complexity of the job, and the role Dex plays in most cases. It's not a raw modefier like Str is on like 90% of Weaponskills.

Double Dipping Dexterity:

Sa is modified by Dex, Shark Bite, Dancing Edge, and Evisceration are as well, so not only do you get the benefit of the WS modefier, you also get the SA modefier as well, you basically get double the benefit. (The attack on it ain't too shabby either.)

Evisceration:

I use to agree with most that for Evisceration: N.Body > D.Harness. However, a very short wuile ago, they changed the TP modefier on Evisceration, so that TP affects the Crit rate rather than the Damage. At which time D.Harness > N.body, as well (for me at least) Evisceration > Dancing edge.
Kinda like Decimation Vs. Rampage, Decimation is 50% Str for 3 hits, TP = Accuracy; Rampage is 30% Str for 5 Hits, TP = Crit Rate. Both in theory should do the same damage, the difference beign one's mod is Crit rate.
On that vein, Dancing edge gets a boost from CHR as well, however, in my particular settup, I don't boost CHR up enough to be considered viable in relation to other stats.

And finally... In closing:
Ridill Ridill Ridill!!!

Everything said here is good information for a lolsushi THF except this:

Well, this question did come up in a recent Thread called Thf/Rng Merits, but from the information ive read, and tested myself it has been Dragon Harness > Nbody For WSs with Dex Mods.

This notion was shot down pretty hard, by thieves who swear by Str, but i know just as many who say the opposite, it's a tough call.

DEX is an obvious choice for pure damage, as it modifies both our WS and SA. However, the acc on nbody is very good for DE (especially if you're using meat)

DH>N.Body for sure... the +10 attack with the +6dex and +6agi is much better then +12str and +10acc... The pure Attack bonus added with the dex bonus is what will add pure damage for a thf.

Thanks for the feed back, so it looks like DH is better for XP/Merit pts but i have no plans to use thf in that area... what about gods/hnms on those high def/vit mobs does the DH still put out bigger numbers?

Before someone says test it yourself and see Nbody hasnt droped for me yet lol just planning my future...

How come you didnt merit Dex over STR if THF is your primary contact DD? just a question.

Do the letters DOT mean nothing to you? Also it's the atk + 10 that makes DH better than/equal to N body.
You get more of an effect from increasing both melee hits and ws damage than increasing ws damage alone.

This was discussed in the other thread pretty heavily.

I dont wear one body piece gimp, go back to you flame that backfired on you revealing your lame nin skills.

Are you referring to the fact that I sold off my scorpion harness on my thf to afford a blau dolch? Factoring in the hidden effect on blau I'd say the +26 atk I got was a bigger bonus than the loss of 2 acc.

Perhaps you misunderstood my comment earlier? Rewriting it incase you found it offensive in some manner.
Str merits are beter than dex merits on thf theoretically because dex merits only affect the WS damage and a slight accuracy boost. str merits on the otherhand are factord in during melee hits during the str vs vit checks, ect ect gives a small boost to atk and is factored in twice on ws damage. Since str gives more boosts overall and is almost as good as dex for a WS that is why STR is considered better to merit than dex.

On a seperate line of thought. the atk+10 is what makes dragon harness superior to hecatomb harness on any ws stacked with sata provided you have good accuracy. The raw dex boost alone on dragon harness technically isnt enough to beat out the str on hecatomb harness during ws. The dex boost AND the atk+10 combined is assuming you have no accuracy issues during ws.

If you don't have accuracy issues during ws then adding 10 more means nothing to you and choose DH. If you do have accuracy issues or can remove some acc gear elsewhere and replace the acc by wearing n body N . body is better.

You need to be more specific on what you were talking about from how i read it you like to melee/tp in your DH, i wasnt talking about the merits.

Less of an I like to tp in dragon harness as I need to get either an assault jerkin, jse body or pal body/new scorpion harness. It's one of the reasons my thf hasnt been lfp too often outside of testing out my blau that one time despite the acc loss being marginal at best vs what I had previously.
Edit: homam corazza is out of reach until I have sea acess.
I would also like to add that cape terrigan is the 5th circle of hell.
EDIT: VS HNM I'm told the STR is more useful for getting past extremly high vit mobs. aka test out which is better on genbu.
