Well I'm a photography student in my school and have just finished my final exam for that lesson. I'm seriously considering doing photography as an A level subject (that just means doing the higher up course for later years). It's advised that we have a SLR camera.
I'm fairly new to this whole SLR scene thing so I was wondering if you guys have any experience. I'm told that you should buy one that does the things you need done.
I want one with a well known brand, one with a lot of lenses to choose from
I'm going to need the camera for landscape photography mostly, and maybe working in low light. And working outside.
I want a fairly good sized sensor, so I can take some nice landscape photos.
The sensor must be self cleaning, that's the last thing I want to be worrying about lol.
A camera that could take the photo in RAW format would be nice but not necessary.
Maximum white balance control would be cool too.
I hear mega pixels is not the end all or be all of SLR cameras but it does help right?
Not to bothered about what type of card it takes either, that can be bought after.
I don't really want to be going over the price of £1200ish. This may be a tall order but any help is much appreciated.
