Rinas was not a bot, Rinas served his time down there and made it out with all those PCCs.

and if you want to be technical Rebandra's crew of 33 or however many she had down there was the most successful. They had a gilseller type faction, only they didn't sell the gil.

But singlehandedly Rinas was top dog IMO, with Phraust being close behind. Go try Rinas on VE and tell me if you think he is a bot, he would smoke any of you people.

I would have cheered the anticans on once it became obvious the two of you had entered the fight unprepared, basically offering yourselves up as willing sacrafices. And what is it you sub when you're working THF? NIN? If so, there's another job where you have no excuse to be leaving your echo drops behind. Never leave yourself totally reliant on others when it comes to things you yourself can resolve.

But let's get to your point...You helped them and they didn't help you in return. I probably would have helped them as well because that's the kind of person I am, and because people have done it for me in the past. But there's no way I'd expect it in return when it came to the NM fight. All I ask at that point is that you don't add more mobs to the mix and MPK me. I fully expect you to just stand there and watch me die if that's the way it plays out. I'd stand there and watch you die just the same.

I'd raise you afterwards if you weren't a WHM with reraise spells. You don't forget those like you forget your echo drops, do you?

Also, spare us any bitching about melees not carrying powders and oils in the future. You have no room to talk.

secondly you obviously DID need your echo drops if you guys got silenced. you fuckin carry them on you just in case. its that plain and fucking simple and i see why you're trying to argue that its not the point of this thread but like i said before, if you HAD the things on you in the FIRST place none of this shit would have happened.

I think she/he (who knows) was referring to the filters in game though. I generally don't even think about them since I have everything but party chat and special actions initiated by enemies and party members filtered out.

I know lavi, and I am pretty sure that he would have helped random strangers if they got claim to a NM they had beat him to claim on it. Comparing helping strangers to helping with people you dislike isn't a fair comparison, so the Vang/Phraust comment is meaningless. I find it funny that there are so many people like you that wouldn't help someone that beat you to a claim on an NM. I would (and have) done it before, and there are several other decent people in game that would do the same.

I never said anything about her stupid chat filters and what they did or didn't show - I just think she actually didnt see whether or not they were silenced. I don't know what kind of point she's trying to make when the bottom line in my eyes is that she is full of shit.

I never said that I wouldn't do it - I said that I doubt that Lavi would do it. My impression about Lavi was made quite some time ago, and thats the impression that I get. Call me an asshole for just calling it like I see it, but I'm not gonna sugar coat any of my opinions for you.
 
I'm grumpy in the mornings, so perhaps I overstated it a bit. But once it becomes obvious you came to the fight unprepared the way they did, any notions of my helping would go right out the window. You obviously need to learn a lesson. Maybe a death will drill it into you.

Part of my reaction has to be my relationship with Lavi in the past. She/he helped me get my first RSE key, always offered advice and got me my carbuncle ruby by training most of the leeches in the in the Maze of Shakrami and taking them down in just a few hits. I don't expect her/him to forget something as basic or as vital as echo drops.

Would Lavi have helped? Back when I knew her/him maybe. Not so sure anymore.

You want them to get the items, and it has an EX drop, so rather then raise and let them take it you take it and leave their bodies where they lie? Then get chased out/killed?

Silenced... yes or no? You posted screenshot of finishing the mob and what it dropped, but by that logic it would have been easy to post a screenshot showing where this wore off. it was a critical point of the arguement, so if you had proof why not show it?

Keep in mind I at no point think they weren't fully entitled to take it. The excuses given though have just been a load of bullshit. Just admit you took the mob because you wanted it, no one's holding it against you anyway. :roll:

I would love to see you help someone out when you are camping a 10 million + item or so. I seriously doubt you would.

Just stop camping NMs Lavi, you're a WHM, we all make fun of you mage campers when you're at the camp sites in /tell or /party chat anyways. Well the real campers, not the "decent" ones, also known as scrubs.
 
Curing a newbie that aggroes a yagudo in Sartabarta is a nice thing to do. I wouldn't expect anyone to cure me if I claimed Mee Deggi though. Helping on placeholders and helping on the big money nm are two entirely different things. It's apples and oranges. I would've helped you kill linking placeholders like you did for them, but if you beat me to the nm I would've watched, (even secretly hoped that), you die so that I could get what I came for. I don't think Team-Jeremy really did anything wrong. There's no glory in being a vulture, but the rewards are just as valuable.

I'm actually more than suprised to see Lavi acting like this, considering she almost never uses profanity in-game at ALL.. O_o then again, I tend to be totally oblivious to things at times..
If Lavi was sure Echo Drops weren't needed, that's not stupid, or dumbass-ish, or whatever, it was confident. At absolute worst it could be called foolish, but she's done it without them before, so there's always the chance she could've done it again. Failed, but, oh well, it doesn't matter.

Could help but didn't? Shame on them, but it's their choice. Not everyone is as gallant as the next person..some people may let anyone die to any mob, some people will save others from certain crappy NMs, some may save people from even relatively expensive NMs, it all depends on the situation (even some some people help at HNM sites for no reason, and seen people help people even if they dislike them)..that being said, you shouldn't go and spew a bunchof crap about how you think someone's full of themself just for saying they'd help with whatever, unless you really know.



Babbling aside, well....the cloak didn't drop. Would they have offered it to you? Believe what they say if you want to or not, but just hope in the future you don't make some mistake that leaves you finding out if they really would. =P

Lavi, I met you before. You seem'd really nice. Yet, I truely expect NO one to help anyone else unless something is in it for them. It really breaks my heart to know that sad fact, yet you shouldve expect'd them Not to help.
They dont owe you anything, i'm fairly sure they want'd u to die. Its very commen for others to gather around the person who has the NM and prey the claimer dies. Your really dragging this out. If you truely want'd help, you could've call'd for help. Then again, if that was the case i'm sure there be a totally different flame.
 
I love how the everyone calls BS on me when I say they were not silenced where the proof is in their damn picture. Neovivi casts Holy and kills Centurio. He obviously was not silenced. Holy is a magic spell but the retarded masses cannot even pickup on a simple fact. No, instead its you didn't have echo drops. Where the fuck was their echo drops? Oh thats right, I was their echo drops when they needed help. Where was my help? Nowhere to be found until I was dead. If someone helps you, you help them back if you can. Its a simple rule. If someone is willing to help you, you should be willing to help them. And Vang, shut up. This is a NM that drops an EX cloak. Not many people camp it for gil because it rarely drops valuable items. They want the cloak. So if I got the cloak it it benefits the other campers because I will NEVER camp it again. Sort of like the idiots who camp Mysticmaker, if you offer them TH2 when they claim it and don't have it, then maybe next time there will be one less camper. Or maybe you should screw them over so you have to CC them again and then see what happens...

Vang would camp this for the other drops, get the cloak, do /sea all, send a tell to the nearest blm, and say rofl - just dropped a shamans cloak. Then he'd post a screenie of him dropping the cloak here, and camp it again just so he could keep other ppl from having it. Look at his behavior with empress pin. Common courtesy doesnt apply to vang because he has no interest in other people, just himself.
 
Actually, Vang would find the nearest BLM and let them lot on it (Assuming they weren't known asshats to him).

He did the same thing for a WHM when we killed that new NM on the mhaura-selbina ship like two days ago. I was the one saying to just drop it :P
 
More likely he wouldnt be in a party so he'd drop it. Or if he was in a party he'd charge whoever wanted it AH price ++ for whatever the closest hi-value item was to the rare/ex drop... or just make up a price on his own between 500k and 2mil =p
 
Nah I really wouldn't do any of that lol. I come first but after me, then comes everyone else, I won't get on my high horse but I help and have helped people ALOT with NMs/ Quests / AF fights. etc.

I talk a big game about being a dick like that but I would never waste a rare/ex item if someone was in the area that could use it. So long as I got the rest of the drops we would be cool :D
