Avatar stats are completely separate from player stats, you could have +999 int and they'll still lolresist and do less damage than a round of dragoon melee. I actually have avatar matk level 5 from merit though.

The new BPs are retarded. Imagine every defect from the participants in the special olympics combined into 6 magical blood pact abilities and that's essentially what SE gave us.

Being that almost every other change they mentioned other than THF getting damage up during perfect dodge from behind has already been implemented (like they even need it anymore..huge THF update, my god), and that Square pretty much only mentioned avatar enhancing magic shit getting a bonus from summoning magic. Even if they made avatars have free perp costs the moves would still be shitty, anyhow. The moves themselves don't resist too often, the problem is that they are horrible damage.
