which city are you in? I know in Ul'dah you can buy new weapons from the vendors in town.
 
where do you pick up more quests from town? I have 5 battleleves I can do but I have no idea where to get more :(
 
I just got my code!!!!

When the thingy update I'll make my character but I'll probably play and explore when I come home from work today.

Not like its hard to make gil, I made 22k after roughly 4 hours of play without doing the quest chains. And that's without selling anything I got. I mean, the lvl 10 Guildleves give roughly 4k gil each, that's 12k just from them alone - and they take less than half an hour to do total.

Wooot got a beta code also, however still doing the download. Quick question, I'm currently at 80.3% of the download, but it says 1/4. And I've been doing this download for like two days now. Is the 1/4 only a part one of four?? Or maybe the other three download faster? Kinda wondering if I'll even be able to play today thanks.
 
The biggest download your doing now, the rest are like 5 mb's each
 
The first file is roughly 4,7 gb, the following file is roughly 1,7gb. The last 2 files are roughly 10mb total.
 
I found a few vendors selling the stuff I already have lol. I made the rest selling off random crap dropped from enemies and guildleves.
 
Finally got in. Now to wait for the download...

I finally get the download down after a couple of retries. Now the log in screen isn't working. How many times must I click 'Log In' before something happens?

when you say "finally got in" did you sign up and they emailed you the code or something?
 
I had my gear repaired but I still have that yellow circle in my status bar saying my equipment is all jacked. Anyone know what to do? 8)
 
If they use this patching process for the retail version of the game, I will definitely be staying FAR away from this game.
 
They're releasing keys again. Was just able to get through go go go
 
I downloaded the beta but the file updates are going slow as hell. I wonder if the problem is on Square-enix's side of things or if it's my firewall. Sometimes the download would stop completely for 5 minutes at a time.

Right now it's at 15.5 Kb/s, with 3 local but no remote connections. /sigh
 
Been downloading it for almost 24 hours now, but it doesn't bother me too much. I'm not just sitting around waiting for it so I forget that I'm even doing it sometimes. It's at 91.5% right now.

I'm just happy I got the code <_<;
 
anyone know how to fix your armor? I talked to the Lala-NPC in Ul'dah for repairs, but I still have the damaged armor sign on my status bar. When I put my cursor over it, it comes up in Japanese. Anyone know what to do?
