Well it was very frustrating to get these maps for me and alot of other people. They didnt show up to download till 3 hours after they went online for most people, others got them right away.
Then when they showed up, us 360 users and some xbox 1 users had problems purchasing them, since the 360 doesnt allow you to change your main credit card to be used once u enter a new one, i couldnt switch to the card that had the money on it (this is only because this is the first and ONLY download to not use the marketplace and will be the last), so it was a headache.

Lol nice. I'd do it but i haven't played halo 2 in ages and don't really have any intention of playing again. Plus i'm not sure i have a non-working card.

Gratz on getting it free though. Lets hope they don't catch on and charge you for it later lol.
 
i actually wouldnt mind paying for them, i wanted to pay for them but because of all the issues i had to do it this way, pretty sad i couldnt get them when i wanted to pay for em but could when they were free. if i get charged ill be fine with that too tho.
 
the new map was released with alot of glitches in it, Theres like 3 invisible walls in there that you cannot shoot through if someone is on one side of it, but they can shoot you.

i love the easter eggs tho, Theres a halo 1 gun in the caged storage area in the water, theres some pics of the original hang em high on the computer screen, The pop machine his CA blast which stands for certain affinity, the people who made the maps.
still lookin for more!
 
chasym what map and where are these invisible walls at? i played about 5 min of the maps and that was just running around so i didnt see anythin Q_Q
 
Bleh, they went and fucked, possibly the best map ever, up. Halo 2 once again back on the shelf :/

I sure hope you're talking about Tombstone and not Desolation. Because Derelict sucked to begin with. God I hated that map.
 
I wanna play these new maps =( But my gamertag expired and im to lazy/cheap to renew it. I wont be missing halo 3 though, i'm goin pro! Srsly, when halo 3 comes out...ffxi is going on the shelves. Chasym you can be pro with me, lol. When I first saw the halo 3 stuff I didnt see a battle rifle, I was pretty much like "there goes half my skill", but then I saw it in one of your trailers lol =P

I might just cream my pants when halo 3 finally comes out, so in about 3 years...Cause their probably gunna push the release date back 50 times.
 
nah halo has never broke tradition and thats in being that when they say november, its november. Tho im hoping they break tradition somewhat and hit them rumors of september. This halo has moved along faster being made than any of the others.
Ill be pro of course lol, Im already pro at halo 2. I only took a few months away from playing it since it came out, but i always come back to it and still play it nightly, Halo 3 will take some getting used to with the new button layout and features. but im ready to own.
Some kids are gonna catch the 7:20 bus to ownage ville.

I am talkin' about "Tombstone" because, to me and most everyone I have talked to that plays/played, it was a given "Desolation" would be full of fail.

i like close quarters maps where i can stick people left n right, my friends hate me for that lol. This is why i love that map, The original was played all the time amongst friends. Different strokes for different folks, tho im just not picky and happy for new maps at all
 
Derlict: 2v2 CTF. was fucking awesome. Was in a tourny at a local place and this was the final.
 
i miss rat race, that was MY map, i never lost on it and we held our own lan tourneys and i was the undefeated champ at that, because it was always my choice what i wanted the final match to be on and it was ALWAYS rat race. My trophy is still sittin on my friends entertainment center (its a wooden hand giving the finger lol) 20 tourneys undefeated, they brought everyone they could to win!!

sadly, i blow at halo 1 now...i tried on xbconnect and im like man...he jumps so short...its sooo slow!!!

I don't mind Close Quarters maps. I just hate Derelict. The layout completely sucks imo.

I like melee kills as much as the next guy. That was my thing among my old circle of friends. This guy Jason, his bit was priming grenades before dying, killing the poor hapless fool that ran over to pick up his stuff.
