Lord...if they made a Starcraft movie, I'd buy that shit. The story for this game looks so in depth and the expansion on the character backgrounds is amazing.
 
It has potential, aye. Who knows, maybe if the Warcraft movie does well, they'll put out a Starcraft movie too. :o

RTS like Command and Conquer, only better.

Also, Raes, I'd be happy with a World of Starcraft game. Choose one of the three races then a class like Marine/Firebat/Medic, Zealot/Dragoon/Dark Templar, Zergling/Hydralisk/Defiler etc.

Oh right so it's single player? It's just that with 14 coming out I don't want to be committing to, to mmos. May pick this up when I get around to looking more into it.
 
Starcraft II is the game that will destroy South Korea. That's all you really need to know.

And I dunno about another -craft MMO. I'd probably be happier to see a single person RPG done more along the lines of a Bioware game.

Singleplayer with an option to play online. There aren't any RPG elements to the online play, so you'd be safe picking it up as a casual game. Unless it sucks you in like the first one did to me oh so many years ago...

Well I remember playing Age of Empires when I was like 7... I liked it could only do like 3 levels back then though haha. I spent more time messing around with the cheat codes and just owning stuff. Haven't played an RTS since, would like to give it another go actually.

Ghost was supposed to be more of like a Metal Gear style game.

Too bad it got delayed to the point that it wouldn't be worth releasing anymore.
 
Having to buy 3 games worth of content will probably give you at least a movie worth of CG hopefully D:
 
I think I read somewhere that SC2 is the most expensive game in history made. It cost Blizzard $100 million dollars. With the pre-orders so far, they are already going to make over $500 million in the US alone just on them.

I love the story behind SC and can't wait to pick up my copy next week.
 
I don't think it's the most expensive in history. Didn't FF7 cost 100 million dollars to make too? :P Or was that make + advertisement?

And I can't wait for SC2 :) this trailer is so awesome. Sad the beta is down :(

Kerrigan is my all time favorite Blizzard character. I played SC along with BW and read the books. I can't wait to see/play what happens next!
 
I was never into Star Craft, but god damn that trailer was badass. It's too bad I've never been big on RTS games no matter how good they might have been.

I have a few buddies that no doubt have had this game on preorder since the moment you could preorder it, so I'm sure I'll hear all about it.

Ya I meant FF7's :P I can't remember if the development cost for that was 100 million too or if the FF7 budget was including advertisement. I'll have to look it up.

And why like Kerrigan? >.> she's such a bitch as a Zerg D:
